Great game, but know that a lot of it is text based.
Takes some patience to adjust, but worth the narrative payoff.
When it’s not the screen that scares you, but what’s happening behind it
Stories Untold — a horror anthology where the gameplay revolves around operating various old devices, from CRT monitors to radio stations. I was impressed by how such a tense experience was created with seemingly minimal resources
The gameplay is simple, but not without its flaws. I liked that the game doesn’t hold your hand and allows you to make mistakes. However, in some sections, it’s not always clear what you’re supposed to do. During my playthrough, I had to consult a guide a couple of times
But the sound design here is absolutely fantastic — it probably makes up 50% of the entire atmosphere. Combined with excellent visuals and directing, it creates a dense, cinematic experience
If you enjoy horror games that play with your imagination, this one is definitely worth checking out

A short puzzle/text based experience with a mysterious narrative that wraps up neatly in the end. If you like winding narratives, and unusual game mechanics, you'll have a lot of fun! The story was gripping the entire way through and I had a wonderful time for my money.

A really good game by Jon McKellan and his team. I really enjoyed pre-2000s design and narrative style of the game. With its music that keeps you on your toes and overall atmosphere reminded me the John Carpenter's cosmic horror movie "The Thing".
Especially the 3rd chapter with that particular environment, plot, radio dispatcher role and that very similar music
. I wondered what this game would be like if it were developed today with some AI integration for writing focused chapters. As soon I can I will play their other game named "Observation". Solid 3.5/5

Boring. Not much of a game. Story is nothing to write home about. Text-based isn't my thing but even if it is yours, I can't imagine that this is a high point for the genre.
Avoid unless you like wasting time and money.

If you like puzzle games Stories Untold is an interesting game to play. I purchased this game when it was on sale and would recommend buying Stories Untold when it's on sale because I think $9.99 is a little much for this game.

a few interesting and engaging ideas, but it's mostly cliche and boring. Unintentional typos are actually unforgivable.

While the story might be interesting - while some of the ideas found here might be "new", unusual and engaging, I must admit that the poor design choices, rather poor technical performance and the over all lack of technical polish made it a rather aggressively mediocre experience.
The game design truly ruins the potential. While it can be argued that it was made to be difficult, there's difference in a difficult game and poorly designed one. Let's just say a lot of the time, my experience was primarily fighting against the game, rather than enjoying it. The only reason for me finishing it, being it's short length.
Sadly, I cannot recommend it. Unless the text and point&click based gameplay novelty of it is entertaining enough for you to justify whatever frustrations you might encounter with it.

Great game. Well worth the full price and certainly any sale price.
While only 4 episodes you will get a few solid hours of this and not to spoil it but it is not 100% a text adventure. It has fantastic mood, sound and music. The voice work is very good as well (although you really don't experience any of that in episode 1). The text parser is a little clunky but mainly if you don't stick to using the simple directions and keywords the game offers in text. It's pretty easy to get a grip on.
Well worth a play through if you like narrative and moody games. There are lots of manipulation and translation style puzzle in the game that are very well done and in context of the stories. Very enjoyable. I played it in 2 sessions and it took about 3 hours.
open game - go play - look around
- Buy it, when it's on sale. 10€ is a bit much, for such a short game.

Interesting story, which ties up nicely. I won't say more. 8/10
