Only two simple puzzles, one is "what numbers to add to get the following result" but with symbols instead of numbers, and one is frustrating for the colorblind.
If you are looking for puzzle game, where one person is playing on a PC and one or more people give hints from manual - Keep talking and nobody explodes is much better and can be played in VR as well as outside VR.

This was a fun 1 time game. After a friend and I played it the first night, we never went back to it. Again it's fun and you'll get your $5 worth but no replayability in my opinion.

The best comparison to make is with "Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes" - where one player is in the world and using their hands while another has a sheet of paper with what's essentially an answer key on it. VR Dungeon only has two types of puzzles, one is a basic math problem that involves silly symbols and the other is an "alchemy" problem that once again features a silly symbol, but now lets you mix colors together. In fact, the entire 'answer key' fits in rather large print on a single piece of paper. Compare this to the variety of different puzzles you see on KTANE (and the huge length of the manuals) and you'll see where this game lands.
While nice in concept, you will experience both different puzzle types within five minutes and after that it's just mundane. With some more puzzle types and teamwork opportunities this could work out very well; but until then I would not recommend it.
