I hate Kate so much. Anyway, this game is safely skippable.

If you’ve ever wanted to lead a dysfunctional road trip during the zombie apocalypse, Telltale’s The Walking Dead: A New Frontier delivers exactly that—plus more awkward family reunions than a holiday dinner gone wrong. You play as Javier, a former baseball star turned apocalypse babysitter, trying to keep your family alive while dealing with the world's most stressful step-parenting gig. Between dodging zombies and even deadlier humans, you’ll experience a rollercoaster of emotions—mainly frustration when someone in your group inevitably makes a terrible decision (lookin’ at you, David). And just when you think things can’t get messier, Clementine returns, moodier and deadlier, like your favorite brooding teenager with a gun. Choices still matter—sort of. You’ll spend hours agonizing over decisions, only to realize everyone still hates you no matter what you do. But hey, at least the zombies are consistent! Final Verdict: It’s like a soap opera, but with more brain-eating. 8/10 – Would emotionally destroy myself again.

Every game gets better and better. This one and the first one are the only games in years to make me cry. The work that TellTale Games put in this defintely shows. If you are thinking about buying I would. But play season 1 and 2 before.

Recomendo!

This is a story not only about survival but also about how a family falls apart in the midst of the apocalypse. At the center of it are the brothers, Javier and David, whose relationship is put through numerous trials. The game presents a brutal world where even the strongest people can break. The story begins with Javier, the younger brother, trying to protect his loved ones. Soon, he encounters his older brother, David, who has been living in a different camp all this time and has become a tough leader. He tries to maintain control, but the world around him keeps breaking him down. David is a complex character. On one hand, he is a real soldier, accustomed to making tough decisions. On the other hand, he just wants to keep his family safe. However, his methods often lead to conflict, especially with Javier. The further the story progresses, the more you realize: he is not a villain—he is a man broken by time. The game's ending becomes a true test. You can try to save David, but he still walks away, not believing that he has a future. It is one of the most tragic moments—when you understand that sometimes, even your best efforts cannot change fate. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is a dramatic story about how even the strongest people can break in a world of chaos. David is a complex yet tragic character who fights for his family until the very end, but in the end there is only one left. This game is truly remarkable, and it powerfully conveys the harsh reality that no matter how hard you try, some things are simply beyond your control. If you care about deep family dramas, this part will hit you right in the heart.
