Love the story and engaging characters. It keeps you interested and hooked on what's happening or what will happen next throughout the entire game. Really rewarding experience.

While this is still a great game, it certainly isn't as good as the original Life is Strange. If you enjoyed the first part or any of the other games of the Life is Strange Series, you should give this a go.

Ok game. Not as impactful as the first one, but still an overall decent story.

This game is very easily dismissed, and I'm guilty of that myself. Three times I tried getting into it, and I never could, at first I thought it was the story being boring, or the characters being less relatable, but when you really get into LiS2, you realise that neither of those is the case. The story, as can always be expected by a Life is Strange game, was actually amazing, as were the characters. You really do grow to care about Sean and Daniel especially throughout your run, you see your actions in Daniel throughout. Compared to even the first game, Dontnod really took "actions have consequences" to the next level, here.
The place this game falls flat, I think, is how it handles its' gameplay. You do see a lot of beautiful moments, and beautiful interactions, but it feels like you have less control over it, because you find yourself watching more often than playing. I think that's a consequence of the story being told, watching the consequences of your actions play out, but not being able to do anything about them. The problem is - that's incredibly boring from a gameplay perspective.
The only reason I finally managed to get through this game was because I bought all the episodes at once, but I can see now that I was an idiot for dismissing it. It's a top notch game, and you should play it, regardless of me considering the gameplay to be boring.

This game is an emotional story full of tense drama about two brothers who was unfortunate to get into some big troubles, not without mystical forces involed. This was one of the most immersive story-movie-games for me. In the same category with Detroit, As Dusk Falls and Heavy Rain of quality time spending.

one of my favourite games of all time. i don’t think i have ever cried so much at a game. sean & daniel’s characters are so beautifully written, and this is a raw and honest story that did a great job at representing the current state of the world and hopefully opens people’s eyes to the harsh realities that people have to face. the game tackles a variety of hard-hitting topics in a way that is an open and honest depiction of real world issues—which is what i think makes this game so much more real. this is honestly my favourite game out of the entire life is strange franchise, and possibly one of my favourite games of all time. it’s honestly such a powerful narrative, but it is also an absolutely necessary one, as it amplifies the voices that previously have gone unheard. i can't commend it enough, it's just amazing.
the graphics were top-tier, soundtrack was amaaazing!! lots of amazing songs—especially when they played on melancholy hill.. when i first played on ps i remember being so happy that me and sean both had one of the same fav bands LMAO, but seriously every aspect of this game is top notch, i don’t even have any criticisms.
sean & daniel’s brotherly relationship was written beautifully, seeing their growth both individually and together as the game progresses is amazing. (i had high-morality daniel, and sean) but srsly!!! play this game. especially with how much cheaper it is compared to when i played on ps during first release, it’s honestly worth it and you won't regret it. maybe just prepare to shed some tears, as expected with a LIS game though. <3

This is nothing like Life Is Strange 1 or BtS. It's noticeable that different people with different agenda worked on this story - instead of that cozy memorable experience that were the first games, here you get a product that is designed to manipulate your feelings but putting you in the shoes of discriminated minorities. While the message developers put into this game might make sense in certain context, it absolutely doesn't make sense after the first game. And this is not why I bought it. No vibes of the first games are here, only the story that's intentionally supposed to make you feel bad. And they know that we fans would play this anyway, because of how much love we have for the first titles.

I genuinely love Dontnods games. I understand why this wasn't the follow up people expected after the first game, it's quite different. But as a big brother, I really related to this game in a way that felt surprisingly personal.
As with LiS1, Lost Records, Tell Me Why and others like it, a lot of people will find things to relate to here, but if you are specifically the big brother to a little brother, this game will give you a lot of feelings.

10/10 The Story is so enriching, emotional, engaging, and fun. So far, it's the only LIS game to actually have ALL of your choices matter for what ending you can achieve. There's also the interesting gameplay dynamic with Sean (aka the person you're controlling) not having the supernatural powers, but the ability to influence what Daniel does with his. This game is an absolute masterpiece in storytelling. Each chapter was interesting in its own way, the characters were unique and developed, the soundtrack was bomb, and graphics were nice. I wish I could play this game for the first time all over again, would recommend anyone and everyone to play it.

This games story is very sobering for people who realize or have just begun realizing how real the events in the story are, and at first, you might not notice it when you start playing; but everything that happens in the game even as someone who isn't Hispanic or Mexican or whatever mold the world looks at people like Sean and Daniel: 'Criminals', 'Demons', Its all what people who look from the outside in would think about anyone that is in a tough situation from a world that will never forgive them, even if they had done nothing wrong, besides running away. And how could you blame them: they're just children caught in a situation of bad circumstances that only exist because of either ignorance or arrogance, and the only way people can reach them and find goodness inside them is if they actually understand them. But what the player does, is what determines if the player can provide forgiveness for what society does to someone when all they know is that 2 boys ran away from a dangerous crime scene.
