Not quite as compelling as LiEat imo, but I really like it nonetheless!

This game has a Wattpad plot like and frustrating puzzles, but also has quite a bit of charm and a wonderfully gothic Lolita ambience. There are no settings, so you must play with pixels like you're using Emule. It's not a bad game but it feels like it was made by a video game enthusiast, rather than by an actually capable person. Let's add that it's a game from ten years ago, so it has aged poorly. It even has bug that have never been resolved, such as blackscreens when loading certain levels (where you must go up and press space). I bought it during the sales for just one euro but honestly I gave it up at halfway through the adventure, from what I then saw with the gameplay on YouTube. For one euro I pretend nothing happened.

Another RPGmaker classic. I'm sadly very late to the party but this is a great game. The art is cute, the story interesting and the characters deep. I love every bit of it. If you are a fan of RPGmaker horror games try this one. If you like horror games in general, try it. If you like deep and exploration narratives, please try it. It's great.

Wanted to play this due to nostalgia. A decent story and decent characters, I had a good time re-experiencing Alicemare. It is a very short game. Despite that, or because of it, this game is still pretty memorable.

Alicemare is kind of a weird game to categorize, I consider it a mystery game with puzzle elements. I really liked the art style and surreal imagery. There is no combat, if you personally are a person who hates RIDDLES then you may want to avoid the game, since primarily you will be deducing new clues/moving forward by solving various riddles for NPCs. I don't like this type of gameplay, but since I used a guide this was not a hindrance from my ability to enjoy the game. Some of the pacing is a little slow but there's enough unsettling stuff and interesting ideas being explored that it kept me interested in finding out more and unraveling the mysteries of what was going on. Some aspects of the game almost reminded me of an 8-bit Silent Hill with some of the scarier elements and themes being explored. Took me about 3 hours to complete with a guide, and thankfully the game is open ended and features several different endings as well as a "true" ending that I thought was a very satisfying conclusion. I personally really enjoyed the other game from this dev Lieat, if you enjoyed that there's probably something about this you'll enjoy too. Not the most earth shattering experience of my life but a mysterious, unsettling and an interesting adventure that was worth exploring. There's a good game here don't let the riddles scare you away! (I just used a guide if I got stuck).
