EDIT: Imagine coming onto a 5 year old review just to say it's "paid". For the record, I've never been paid even once for streaming any game (I'm a tiny "streamer", why would anyone want to pay me?). I genuinely want to support the developers and what they're aiming for - plus, I am a self-confessed huge sucker for digital extras. The upshot of this is that I'm no longer willing to entertain other such comments on this, as rare as they are. I received the base game for free for streaming purposes. I really enjoyed it so much, that when an announcement that there was deluxe edition DLC was made, I immediately made to pick it up as soon as was possible in order to support the awesome developers and music composer. It should be stated that Blood Music graciously made the awesome Dan Terminus' album The Wrath of Code into a PWYW deal on their own website in order to deter pirates. But if you want to support the artist, feel free to pick it up from here, or on the aforementioned website by specifying a monetary tip. It contains both MP3 files and FLAC files of the 13 awesome tracks in the album, most of which are already level themes in this game. The first 3 songs (Cherenkov Blue Overdriver, Heavy Artillery and Avalanche) are my favourites, but the rest are also superb displays of synthwave goodness. The pixel artwork by Florian Hurtaut (nosifone) is eye-catching and gorgeous, and the DLC includes several wallpapers of his artwork at a good quality. Lastly, you also get prototypes of the game, from an early stage to...well, I won't spoil here. It's quite cool to see NeuroVoider progress from its humble beginnings over the months/years to where it is now, and it also comes with an insightful video commentary from dev Thomas Altenburger (MrHelmut) explaining the stories and facets behind each prototype build. If you enjoyed the base game, this is HIGHLY recommended. [h1][b]9.0/10[/b][/h1]
