Vanguard V was the very first VR game I ever played on Google Cardboard. I was super impressed and it was one of the experiences that made me buy the VIVE. This PC version is way better in every way. The control is unique in that you control the character with your head and the guns with your hands. The music is great. It looks great. There are voiceovers. There is a lot of potential here. It's far too short. I beat the 3 parts available in Early Access in one sitting. I think this is one of those games that could be a classic. When people talk about early VR they will mention this game.

Wow this is one of the most amazing VR experience ever. They freaking nailed it! Can't wait to see more content. Bravo!

Right now it's a demo for 15 dollars. Kinda ridiculous. Took less then 15 mins to do both "levels". The 2nd level is a texture mess and looks like shit. Gameplay is fun but buggy as hell. It can't decide how it wants you to aim your "weapon" when your controllers are turned on. Works great with HMD aiming but that's about it.

The game is only 2 levels and 10-15 minutes long. Maybe $2 would be a better price? There are also a lot of problems with controls, it looks like this game was made for DK2 and hasnt been updated since then. Updates are very sparse so i'm guessing this game is dead :(

I had fun with the first two levels and excited to try more. I love the way the music makes me feel. My only suggestion is I'd really like to see you incorporate translations of the headset to manuever around as opposed to just the head tilt. The problem with using the head tilt is I can't fly in one direction while looking and shooting in a different direction. Also I think it would be a lot funner if I was moving my whole body around to fly instead of just tilting my head.

This game is far from being finished, only two levels available now, but i had fun. I like the personality of the main characters and the soundtrack is awesome! I hope this game will get lots of levels, so please support it.

Just to let others know; This game is a dead - Early Access game - tech demo at best - be warned, very very little content.

What a great experience, with a very compelling store page. The soundtrack and promotional video won my vote, and I'm not disappointed. In terms of content, there isn't all that much at all. Look at the amount of time I have spent in this game - you will likely have anywhere between that and double that as of this version. As it stands, the game definitely boasts some pretty fantastic promise. I was able to quickly envision the characters in a series, easily. The main character seems a tad too comfortable with the situations she is placed in, however I feel like this will make more sense with more of game being released. The visuals are fantastic and every aspect of this game is refined, for what little there is. I bought this title because I see a lot of promise in the dev, and for what there is out now, it is most certainly a well placed belief. This game feels like the next Starfox 64, but in VR. That said, the gameplay and style are very consistent. In terms of gameplay though, some kind of variation in weaponry would be much appreciated, and perhaps a better use of the touch pad and grip buttons, as they are wasted Vive Controller revenue at this point. At this point, buy the game to support the Dev, or if you've read the Early Access notes and are all right with them. Huge thumbs up from me, but it's up to the dev to really kick things into gear and continue to release content. I really like what I see so far, and I know the VR world is tough right now, so if there's any way I'd be able to help, please do not hesitate to reach me, I'd be willing to invest time in this project of yours.
