No skill is required for this game. It's another simple grindfest where achievements are acquired by just playing the game. Therefore, it lacks any kind of challenge - although there is a leaderboard of sorts. Given the subject matter this could have been a mischievous little time waster.

The upgrade system and depth to this game are actually pretty impressive, I didn't give it enough credit at first but now that I've started in to it a bit more...damn, what a fun game. I'm addicted.

For such a simple game it's surprisingly fun and addictive. You fly around on your broom capturing running, crying children so you can toss them into a giant pot and turn them into delicious meat. You can also drop them from high in the air to kill them (which you can also cook for less delicious meat) or use their bodies to knock out their daddies so that you can drag them into the pot as well. There isn't much else to it. Getting all the achievements is fairly easy so don't expect a lengthy play time. While I enjoyed the game, I would have liked Cooking Witch to have more backgrounds and music choices, since there is only one for each. Overall, it's a fun but very short game, but at $2 it's worth getting.

Very boring gameplay, no changes during the progression of the game. Always the same enemy, always the same map. Last achievement is just hidden behind a lot of grinding to desperatly try and stretch out the playtime of the game. 2/10 at best

Witches abandon simmering potions for soaring through eerie woods on broomsticks, shifting their mission from brewing magical concoctions to capturing unsuspecting children. In this straightforward game, you capture children and put them in your cauldron to earn points that help you improve your skills. Upgrades like faster brooms and larger cauldrons enhance your abilities, while each child's traits affect how easily they can be caught, adding a strategic element to the game. Overall, it offers a simple yet memorable experience. The blend of capturing and upgrading ensures an engaging arcade.

A delightful game in which you get to eat all the children. It sets the mood with Moonlight Sonata and then with monty python sousa music. it's silly and fun. It's casual yet you find yourself trying to be strategic. I WANT TO EAT ALL THE CHILDREN! OMNOMNOMNOM!
Non Vegan Recipe
I was searching the store for the non-violent game about the witch in the woods who cooks vegan potions. I found this instead. Whilst not what I was originally looking for, it's a good.casual game to kill a little bit of time, and a large number of children. gameplay is very simple but fluid, and overall it's great fun. Good use of classical music as background tracks.

Weird, original gameplay of this game is very refreshing. Beautiful graphics, decent music and hysterical screams of children complete the good impression of the game. The controls are very simple. Easy to play, hard to break off. Recommendation!

Cooking Witch is probarly the most satisfying game I've come around while starting my Steam Adventure. It's a game in which you kidnap children, cook them and afterwards eat their meat. You can also drop them so they make a fatal landing or drop them on their daddy, and even cook and eat their daddy. Now this might sound like a really creepy and nasty game but it isn't, keep in mind that it's a 2d pixel game so it cannot look creepy at all. I recommend this game to anyone who needs to vent, doesn't really like children or just looks so have a fun time.
