Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons - Takumi Epilogue DLC

This game is one of the best that I have found in a while. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who enjoys visual novels and otome games. This one is worth the investment. I also find it enjoyable that all the characters have varying degrees of relationships that do not center on or revolve around the MC. Note: Takumi was my favourite in all of the other routes up to the release of his route. He was a sneaky ninja, the only human, handsome, charming and cared about the MC. However I personally found his route a let down - I liked him more in the routes that were not his own. IMO he didn't act like himself, or at least not the character I'd grown to know. Instead of deepening my understanding it felt like it did a 180 and his choices and how he acted towards the MC didn't seem to make sense. I still liked the story in a more generalised sense, it was interesting but as someone who was really looking forward to his route I was disappointed. Getting to spend time with him and see what happens after all the drama of the main route was so much fun though, I felt less like he was acting out of character. PROS: - Complex world and Lore - Huge array of characters beyond the MC and LIs - The routes are all separate with completely different stories~! - The sprites, BGs and CGs are GORGEOUS - The music is really really lovely! - Really good writing CONS: - The format is a little unusual and potentially confusing for buyers - Buying routes and epilogues separately can feel pricey (but gives you freedom of who you want to romance)

Takumi's route was one of my favourite, so I was looking forward the epilogue. The team really put much effort into this story and I can also feel their love of the characters. I also think that the storytelling is getting better with every route. There is a mixture of some action and a lot of cuteness in this one.

This was actually the only one i really felt was worth it (and i played all epilogues and routes except hikarus up until now). It holds a good chunk of information about Shizuha and a nicer ending for the pair. Until now i only boughtem for the achievements but this one actually payed off :)

To me this epilogue wasn't really needed. It hardly adds anything to Takumi's main story, it's mostly fluffy filler. There's some information about Shizuka but not much.

This was a nice Valentine’s Day gift to the fans. I’m glad that after each route and epilogue, we’re getting closer and closer to what really happened to Shizuka. I want to know more about her past too, I hope that everything will be explained in Hikaru’s route. The epilogue was okay, a few characters made an appearance, and of course, there was Takumi being the sweet little rice cake that he is. [spoiler]No sexy times here, but still, it was worth reading just to see sweet Taku again <3[/spoiler] But yeah, a good complement to his route!
