Great test for RTX cards, proving that ray tracing is a real bear. I got a 5800 on the nose @ 27 fps out of my i9-9900K & RTX 2080 XC. If you want to know just what your new card can do, get this upgrade for $2.99 EDIT 01/2719: I got all the way up to 5961 score @ 27.60 fps res. 1440p using high power. Great program for playing around!

Pretty cool looking benchmark. It shows how freaking hard RTX really are to handle. My AMD Ryzen 7 1700 3.9GHz, Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 3200MHz 16GB (Clocked at 3000MHz) and MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Duke OC Got an Average FPS of 27FPS (26.70FPS) and a Total Score of 5766. This was while i was recording with Shadowplay. The Benchmark is something you just have to test if you've got a RTX 2060, RTX 2070, RTX 2080 or a RTX 2080Ti :) Got a score of 5972 and an Average fps of 27.65 when not recording.

I predicted the 1080 ti would be an 8 fps ray tracing card, it benched 10.11 fps in Port Royal. Close enough, still runs horribly. Nice to see how your card does on ray tracing.

Great way to see what your ray traced card is made of, would only recommend if you have a card that can raw dog some ray tracing without DLSS like a 2070 (non mobile) + or AMD 6800 + otherwise it's gonna be a slideshow.

Absolutely crushes the current RTX 20XX series at the time of this review, will definitely be interesting to compare against next gen with this test.

IMO this addition to 3D Mark is worth the money. My (x1) RTX 2080 struggled and performed on average at 27 FPS at 1080P.

If you've got one of the RTX cards then this is the one! 3 bucks is not bad at all, especially since it's such a spectacle to look at and it gives you a neat glimpse of what Raytracing could contribute in the future. Funny this comes out the day I get my RMA GPU in the mail.

This is absolutely not worth any money, not even on sale. Its outdated, too short and looks bad. Also giving this to people who newly bought 3DMark but not us old timers who supported the company for a decade ? Scummy practices.

Imagine making the old users and early supporters of 3dmark having to pay for having this benchmark available as "dlc". You'd think it'd be the other way around, meaning the longer you've been supporting the more benefits you'd get, but apparently not with this shitty company. Can't make this shit up.

Really shitty business practice to have this as a paid DLC only for old owners of 3DMark while new owners that pay the same amount for the software get it included for free.
