Ok, them Talisman are fun to use, i loved the Explosive Pumpkin one... probably because getting all of them is one hell of a grind... I supposed they are "World Drop" meaning, they had a chance to drop from everywhere in the game... The Mission? Is Horrible, it's so boring that they just add in a few "sentences ( Conversation) " between the characters then call it a day, it requires you to Progress them .... RNG Map... and it's so boring, good thing i guess....is you don't have to do it in 1 go And this DLC is so expensive without Discount ! And i am glad i waited it out...but buying it felt like a scam If you bother doing them achievements.... yeah, grab this i guess, ON A SALE Tho...

Absolutely terrible, you could not have created anything worse if you tried. -100/5 P.S. I would not mind the mind numbingly boring levels, if you actually gave us some new items to win these battles faster, I think I'm on 13th "level" and everything I do in them is a chore, let us kill these hordes faster, then maybe it would not be so painful. You're outdoing EA here, bravo.

Super disappointed with this DLC. Who thought stopping ARPG players from continuing the story with daily dungeons was a good idea?

Due to lacking of content,I'm glad to buy this during sales for 80% discount. This is totally not worthy for its original price.

And here it is, the second and the most screwed up DLC for Victor Vran... The good thing is – no more quick re-skins here. Even though this DLC comes with messed up stuff from the previous one (yep, tanks are still a thing), it's finally a proper sequel, in which Victor should try to do something about his curse. The bad thing, though... Yeah, you've got it. Even more bad decisions happened. See, one of the bad things about the main game was that story was way, way too short (less than ten hours, which makes it about two times shorter than the very first Diablo). And this DLC? It tries to address the problem. Technically, it wasn't a bad idea, but as usual with Haemimont Games, they've just f***d it up. Fractured Worlds come with a few new maps. Which are pretty much the randomly generated versions of the old ones. And you'll need to slay a monster on every one of them. For a couple of times. Sounds easy, huh? The problem is – the dungeons will change... daily. And you'll need them to change to progress the story. In other words, from time to time you'll need to wait for a freakin' day just to be able to continue the story. Obviously, I have a question here. That question is – what kind of stupid nonsense is that?! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!!! I mean, sure, Victor Vran had that cheap mobile aftertaste, but this? It's like one of those crappy mobile apps that want you to either pay a few bucks “like one of the cool guys”, or wait for 24 hours like a loser. And you can't even pay here! It's just that! You're a freakin' loser! You've paid the money and yet, you feel like a loser! It allows Haemimont Games to say that you can't beat this DLC in one seat, though. So, at least the guys are happy about such decision. That alone is so screwed up that... No, seriously, I don't even know what to say here. It's probably the worst decision ever made in ARPG title. And before you ask, no, you can't trick the game by changing your system clock, or editing your save file in hex editor. Like I've said in my main game review, it's heavily online-oriented even when it's about single player mode. You want to progress the story – you need to connect to the internet and allow the game to see that the day has passed. What do I think about it? Well... I have a couple of things to say to Haemimont Games here, but I'm pretty sure those are not allowed on Steam. So, let's just leave it at that. Another “big new thing” in this DLC is an endless dungeon called Fracture. Which is pretty much the same exact old maps turned into randomly generated stuff. The only difference is that you'll play them one after another with no end. You can exit and re-enter at where you quit at any time, though, so, with no difference from regular maps, it feels ultimately boring. And guess what? The story will want you to reach certain levels of this nonsense too. Imagine just how “fun” it is... So, yeah... Fractured Worlds wanted to fix Victor Vran a bit by providing randomly generated levels and longer single player experience. Instead, it ended up breaking the completely. The main game was far from being a good experience, but this? This is just a joke. Even if you liked the main game, you won't like this. Avoid. Just... avoid...

I really liked Victor Vran, but this DLC is just... no. Let's compare it with Motorhead, since they are the same price. Motorhead introduces new outfits, weapons, destiny cards, powers for your hero. All of these can drastically change your play experience, and most likely result in changes to your playstyle. Compared to this, fractured worlds just gives you talismans, which are difficult to craft, have a very small and hardly noticeable charging notification (I barely noticed I could use mine most of the time), and while they do impact the gameplay, depending on how lucky your roll is on how they are charged, you'll forget you ever had one. The wings look cool though. Motorhead also introduced three new enemy types with lots of subtypes - scorpions, sucubi and hounds. The zone exploration there includes monuments of rock, which spawn enemies and reset if you die while clearing it out, and three new unique boss fights. Fractured worlds has just 4 daily changing zones and one repeatable zone. There is absolutely nothing new here - the zones themselves are mostly recycled, and made up from already seen assets. The story in Motorhead revolves around Snaggletooth, and you can find a lot of info about the band, some journal entries while exploring which give more details, when completing some objectives you add albums to your hub, nothing major but it's a nice touch. It's mostly tied to the motives in the band's songs and such, not really crazy but it explains the design choices and the effort was there. Fractured worlds' story is...just not there. It's made up from the trailer sequence, two talk scenes, and a set of objectives that set you grinding in the repeatable zones. The story progression is even halted if you go through it too fast and do not allow the daily dungeons to reset. But still I powered through that and decided to finish the final objective which is to go through 50(!) repeatable tiers only to be completely disappointed by the non existing ending or point or a boss fight or anything at all. The only reason I'm going after this one is that it's not priced for the amount of content it gives. It promises to rival Motorhead in the price tag but do not waste your money and your time trying to get satisfaction here unless you really like this game. And even then I'd suggest just redoing Cauldron of Chaos in the main game, which is a repeatable really custom zone with lots of varying boss fights that make it interesting.

Hello friends, Today i will review the DLC for the game Victor Vran called FRACTURED WORLDS. This dlc basically has different dungeons that are random generated dungeons that change every day. There is also a dungeon called THE FRACTURE that is basically a endless dungeon to test your mettle. This dlc also has craftable talismans that give your character more powers that can really help them in a pinch. Be aware you may need to use the tranmutation method to make alot of the talismans, and follow the recipe the exact way it tells you to, with the same colored items mentioned in it. Also, on each map is new secrets and chests you can unlock with new enemies to fight, and new bosses. Since the dungeons change everyday, you need to wait to get the story items for the dlc..so you will have to wait each day to do them once to get the items for the story. The talismans also make you have wings when you equip them, but you can turn this effect off too. This dlc is not as good as the motorhear one, but it is good to try for a challenge to see how far you can get, and try this new story that goes more into vitor vran's personal quest. The talismans are also worth it if you can find the recipe's for them drop.

Editing due to the fact that i'm drowing tired of the dungeons, the mindlessness of it, and the bugs/crashes. I had to reboot the game for a quest line, etc. This just isn't goo. Both DLC's are trash, and the devs charged early adopters more than new players, DLC costs the same as the base game (which is a good game) and it's semingly like it's never been tested. I'll have to play it local on my own account to see hw things go after awhile but really, this should be free. I'd want a refund but that's too late. Screw this crap, devs never tested anything, and while some mindless people want to say this is the best game ever and blah blah, technical aspects and what other games can be purchased at the same value, and the fact that this is an older game, seems like the devs should have tested the game completely before releasing a huge update that screwed everything up, and then come to find that the DLC isn't even worth it. If you like to waste money and enjoy random mindless added content to "refresh" a dead game, go for it. I originally gave this a positive, but I can't do that after playing this. Devs, you needs to fix things and add some real content to get this going again. RIP Victor Vran. Back to Vanhelsing. Grim Dawn. PoE. Anything but this.

In short: This 'expansion' is a travesty and I hate it with every fiber of my being. Longer version: In 1997 I was on holidays in Greece, and I came across a bottle of soda simply labeled 'A good drink'. It came in three different colours, oddly all the same flavor, pretty packaging but once you buy it it tasted like sadness and failure. I can't be sure but I'm quite convinced whoever commissioned this horrendous drink was probably promptly fired and has found a job at Eurovideo Medien, because that's exactly what this DLC pack is, a pretty packaging with an aftertaste of disappointment. The 'expansion' offers next to nothing new to the table, other than a raised level cap, and if that's your thing then maybe buy this (but wait until it's on sale). The new dungeons advertised are tedious grindfests, a linear tunnel where you'll be treated to trash mobs that you one-shot for five minutes followed by a checkpoint upon which you'll be butchered by things that one shot you, presumably as revenge to your previous actions. The problem with this expansion is threefold; it offers nothing new in terms of monsters (aside from making them look different and giving them new names), but also it's tedious and super repetitive, even in the main quest line (and I'm being generous calling it a 'quest line'). I would rather sit tied to a chair for 48 hours straight with my eyes pried open with pins Clockwork Orange style and play the Bottomless Pit on an endless loop for the duration of this time period and still happily testify to that being a more fun and versatile experience than the 'random dungeons' in this DLC. Oh, and there was a third part - the mobs are ridiculous. Adding bonus armor to mobs already immune to crit doesn't make the game more interesting, challenging or fun, it just means you'll be kiting stuff for longer. No new mechanics, just the pain in the backside mobs that everybody hated from the 'vanilla' version but now with additional armor and diamond powers. I could still deal with the tedious repetitiveness of the expansion, but there's zero balance in the game between mobs. You'll run through five minutes of a tunnel one shotting everything, and then face a immune to crit mob with a silly level of armor that requires no actual strategy, just another five minutes of your time to kite and kill it. Lather, rinse, repeat. That's it. No new weapons, no new mechanics or anything of note, other than an useless talisman equipment slot. Bottom line: If the added lvl cap and getting an extra divinity card slot seems worth the price, buy the game. If not, I'd seriously urge you to look into another game or the Motorhead expansion (2 hours into that one and enjoying it a lot more).

I like Victor Vran, I really do, I have more than 200 hours in the game and I had 100% in the Vanilla game. This DLC on the hand is irredeamable garbage. All you do is raid procedurally generated dungeons. There is a story but it is barely there and not very good. Also, you are going through the "story" and you have to wait for a day to progress it for no other reason than "dungeons change once a day". That is how utterly idiotic the "story" mode is. One thing I want to mention is that the procedurally generated dungeons are predictably not anywhere near as good as hand crafted ones in the Vanilla game. In fact I would rather raid again the Dungeons in Motorhead and Vanilla VV than do the proc gen ones in Fractured Worlds. This DLC is bad and if you absolutely have to have it, get it on a very deep sale, at least 75% off.
