Games great, love the story and the game play. My only problem with it is how often it crashes. Usually due to mission failures. Otherwise its great.

for a 15 year old game it is really good and the Original version of the game it still holds up til to today. other then a few bug here and there and the softlock/ could be hardlocks at the end mission of sequence 9 and the modern day point at the end game.To fix if they happened for anyone change graphic settings to 60hz and turn on or off Vsync if you use it or not reload to main menu then load back up and it should hopefully fix it.Then you can change back to your preferred settings.
I can see why they did remaster the game to fix this and the other little bugs and sometimes the camera can go funny but honestly get this version its far cheaper then the remaster.
Also it runs and play better than latest ac game and story is far better and nlg its most likely going to be better then ac shadows. hopefully shadows is good but doubt that these days.
10/10 would recommend in 2025

Each time I play through an assassins creed game they seem to get better, once again, an improvement over the last, maybe not as substantial as from 1 to 2, but its definitely an improvement. This is essentially just a more refined version of 2 with some extra mechanics, in terms of gameplay, but in terms of story, I really like this one. I would have loved to experience the ending for myself, but couldn't because of a crash that wouldn't let me progress and complete the final 30 minutes with Desmond, however that alone is not enough to sour my experience with this game. Many people hold this in incredibly high regard, and while yes I do agree this game is incredible, I don't think its going to be my favourite out of the franchise. However I do still think this is a great game that everyone should experience.

My personal favorite from the series with a really good port compared to ac2. Looks way better then it did on ps3 and runs better to. Strong story and fun gameplay

2nd best game in the series after AC2. The game had a significant upgrade overall and the story is great. If it wasn't for the unnecessary ending in the modern arc, it would've shifted series in a better direction.

Ubisoft Connect kept auto launching itself even after I disabled it as a startup program, and interrupted other games to launch a browser to try and get me to login if I didn't login after a certain amount of time of the program launching. I closed the program and it relaunched itself, and interrupted the game again, and then launched a browser again interrupting another game. If you can avoid buying and playing Ubisoft games on PC, I highly recommend avoiding them.

The multiplayer was incredible but sadly the franchise ditched it in order to churn out the same boring single player slop again and again and the servers for this are shut down.

Assassin's Creed Brotherbood is an ok game, but the PC port is mediocre at best.
[list]
[*]Game suffers from audio lag.
[*]Ubisoft's launcher is here, for absolutely no reason, and it requires you to input your password every time.
[*]Game installs PunkBuster, even though Multiplayer has been shutdown.
[*]Game suffers from the exact same stuttering issue that plagued AC3 and AC Black Flag.
[*]The "Defend the villa" section still has it's difficulty tied to FPS. It's very difficult to complete while playing at 60FPS as it was designed in a way where you barely manage it at 30FPS, and it seems to be literally impossible while playing above 60FPS.
[*]Even when the game is running at max settings, Draw Distance is very low, so you can expect to see a lot of pop in.

A really good game with a compelling story. Assassin's Creed 2 is better and bigger than this game, however UI and keyboard controls of the Brotherhood are significantly better. Also AC2 has resolution limit and 60 fps frame cap, whereas there are no limits in this game.
Ubisoft, go back to your roots. The Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla "Trilogy" was also decent but nothing beats the Ezio Trilogy.

You play Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed games like Valhalla or Mirage, none of which have the gameplay and storyline of the Ezio trilogy.
The legacy of Ubisoft is kept alive by this trilogy.
