Actually a fun game to play which doesn't take so much time. The rulebook is well designed, yet it took me a sample round to understand what it wants to tell me. After that round one knows how to play and the mixture of duelling and poker make for a kind of intense gameplay! What can you expect for that price? The surrounding is well designed (you basically play on a train in the desert), and so is the game itself. What it doesn't provide is any kind of scripting like auto setup/deal/etc., but since it is not a micromanagement game you barely need those anyways (even better for rewind/save and load). Also, the table could be bigger, maybe with working drawers (Which the table has by design, they just don't work) to place the player mats on. All in all I can recommend this game, at least give it a shot, yeehah!

The Tiny Epic series are a great set of games. 15 mins to learn, hours of fun. The game is a great port of the box set and plays easily on the TTS. I haven't encountered a glitch or any issues to date. Players take control of a western boss, wtih a good amount of choices. Each player has 'posse' members they can send out to the different boards (buildings) to activate bonuses there. If 2 posse members go to the same space, a duel will break out. Players roll a bullet shaped dice (with sound effects!) and add bonuses to determine winners. After, players will collect one of 3 resources (gold, law, and force) and use them to buy buildings on the map to gain special abilities and victory points towards winning. One of the most fun aspects of the game are the poker cards. They are dealt around the board next to the buildings and 2 to each player, one of which they keep. At the end of each round the player will create a 3 card poker hand from the one he has vs the 2 next to the building. Players with pieces at those locations with the best hand win the pot, each differes depending on the building. Cards can also be used to influence the outcome of duels and can be modified by number or suit with special abilities. THINGS TO NOTE: Rules are simple. Right click on the rules book in TTS and set state to the different numbers to turn the pages. SAME THING goes for the posse members. It drove me crazy trying to lay one down when wounded. Right click the posse member and set state to 2 to lay them down, 1 to stand up. There is a video tutorial on their website: http://www.gamelyngames.com/games/tiny-epic-western/ 1-4 players, solo rules in the book.

This is a fun game. I think it would be more fun scripted. The dice cannot be rolled with r but can be thrown to roll. Please try the scripted version here. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2443130929

Practically no scripted setup or scripting, and this seems like a game that could really use scripted setup. What's worse is that the bullet dice are non-functional! They are not considered "dice" objects by TTS and they cannot be rolled like regular dice. Even if you force TTS to treat them as dice by editing the object properties, they still don't "roll" properly, you can flip them but then you're going to get a predictable outcome (eg. flipping a bullet on 1 will always flip to 4). Given the dice are a hugely important part of this game, it makes the game unplayable with the supplied dice. You would have to spawn in regular dice if you want the dice rolls to be fair. I am very unhappy with this DLC, I expected much more polish when it's being paid for. My advice is skip this, it has actually made me wary of some of the other paid DLC for TTS.
