I haven't finished it yet however, when I do I will make a full review. Tatsuya's route so far is really good I'm on either chapter 11 or 12 and I am really impressed! The script is amazingly written (as expected) and it has a nice sense of humour, with all the awkwardness floating around and all. Tatsuya as a character can be frustrating and confusing but really he is just SUPER awkwardly cute! So far I reccomend buying this route as it lays out the information in slices rather then serving it all at one and expecting you to eat it all, which to me is good as it gives at least a chance to remember all the facts about your virtual love life. Also, I LOVE that you can see what Tatsuya's family looks like as in Shou's route (I understand that his parents didn't have much of a part) you couldn't see his parents and it is really hard for me to imagine when I am trying to focus on the overwhelming adorableness of my supernatural senpai... I can't really put much as I haven't finished it however one I have I will update this review! Finished ~ ... You are killing me over here. I was always looking forward to a certain PI's route considering they were childhood friends, now I want to read it now xD. No, but tatsuya route good points: ~Well written ~Cute ~Frustrating (in a good way) ~Good stroy ~Good characters ~Good character art ~I now know who a certain someones boyfriend looks like! :D From shou's route I knew he was her boyfriend as soon as I saw his name in this route! :DDDDDDD ~Leaves you wanting other routes Bad Points: Not many... Not many at all Tsundere is just to perfect. ;-; ~My opinion not enough romanticy kind of things don't get me wrong when there was they were super cute! :3 <3 ~Not really bad it is actually a good thing but, so sad towards the end at a party. (My Ninja PI D;) ~Some bits were slow (which I liked) but then some bits were fast if you catch my drift, basically it kind of didn't fit a pattern. Overall amazing Tsundere route and a great story, can't say which route is better my sexy flaming phoenix or my cold cute dragon. However, I without a doubt i definitely recommend thsi route even if you don't like the cold tsundere type! (who doesn't though be honest ;3) ~P

Tatsuya's route was beautiful, with a poignant and subtle romance - I really enjoyed it. His characterization and appearance are just my type, he's aloof and a little bit cold, but you begin to see how charming he really is as the story progresses. The plot was enjoyable, the villain was interesting - and his family members were great. Mystic Destinies is a fantastic game with wonderful writing, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who is a fan of visual novels.

This game is one of the best I've found in a while and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who enjoys visual novels and otome games. This one is worth the investment. Tatsuya wasn't my favourite love interest because he was a bit to tsundere for me, but his route was still really interesting and I enjoyed playing it even if he annoyed me a little sometimes. Showing different parts of the world and lore. PROS: - Complex world and Lore - Huge array of characters beyond the MC and LIs - The routes are all separate with completely different stories~! - The sprites, BGs and CGs are GORGEOUS - The music is really really lovely! - Really good writing CONS: - The format is a little unusual and potentially confusing for buyers - Buying routes and epilogues separately can feel pricey (but gives you freedom of who you want to romance)

Sometimes when you have one of these hot and cold characters, the heroine has to be a bit of a pushover to get the romance going. Not at all in this route! Tatsuya is awkward and says harsh things, but actually apologizes with a tenderness that shows that he's not intending to be mean it just comes out wrong. And he tries again. Anyone who has a tendency to blunder through conversations will feel a kindred spirit here. Plus the blushing! The addition of the bad endings, the complexity of the story, and the intricacy of the art especially during the CG sections is just a delight.

I actually hadn't really heard of this game until a couple weeks until Tatsuya's release when I saw some people reblogging some promotional posts for his route on tumblr. Seeing as I'm super into guys who wear glasses, I decided to download that prologue and see what kind of game this was and afterwards I decided to wait and see how I liked Tatsuya's route before I decided to get any of the other routes. In short; Tatsuya's route far exceeded any expectations I had. As one would expect, Tatsuya starts off frosty but begins to warm up to Tsubasa as time goes on. In turn, Tsubasa begins to rely on Tatsuya more, despite his cold exterior. Both struggle with their own issues, but after opening up to one another they grow stronger as individuals. The relationship they share is one of my favorite things in the route. The other characters are also amazing! Especially, Chisaki, Tatsuya's mother, who wins mom of the year! Ahaha. But silliness aside, the minor characters are just so vibrant add to the story as a whole. Takumi, especially, helps out Tsubasa a lot and his involvement makes me look forward to his route that much more. I even found Katsunosuki well written as an antagonist. The way he was written was that he's a little off-putting (in the sense that I don't like his advances), but it's hard to hate him because he isn't a 100% bad guy. The story's isn't so much about Tsubasa and her coming to terms with her newfound powers, but more about Tatsuya, his family's issues and how Tsubasa is caught in the middle of it. While I greatly enjoyed the story, I was given the impression there would be more about Tsubasa's development as a sorceress (although I read somewhere that the prologue had some issues and this impression may have been one of them). This was my only real issue with the story, and that being said the subplot of Tsubasa coming to terms with who she has become and Haruna were well executed. As a whole, I found the story to be extremely enjoyable. Tatsuya's route was extremely well-written and, for me, a good introduction to Mystic Destines (as I have yet to play Shou's). The art is wonderful- it's realistic, but not too much so. However, whoever decided that we need teary-eyed sprites might be evil, since seeing one is like a punch in the feels. But anyway, I'm looking forward to the other routes in this game!
Tatsuyas Route aka the cold heart with a soft, warm inside.

Game overall:
- My only critique is the music, wich becomes boring after some loops. - CS were good but i would have hoped for more (or i'm used to get more of them in other VN/Otome). + Other that that the game is unusually polished + i personally enjoyed a more western/realistic artstyle for once + and the writing was good (both in grammar AND storytelling) + the maincharacter is normal, in a GOOD way. She reacts grumpy when someone is rude, shes flustered if its the situation but shes not overly anything. The writing conveyed a fully fleshed charcter wich you shape with your reaktions one by one. I really enjoyed seeing this instead of one blunt character!
This particular Route:
+ over all probably the best / most charming execution i've seen of the "cold harded / jerk to soft hearted / passionate guy" + his jerkness is not overplayed and pretty understandable, i was never annoyed by although it sometimes seems rude etc (but in a "normal" or "realistic" way) + Tatsuya is smart but has flaws, over all a good mix. He seems unexperianced in emotional matters and is so far (i did Shinji and Shou before) ironicaly the strongest "teen" feeling - even though he also seems to be the most mature one of the bunch. Its interessting and very well written. ++ i really liked the buisseness aspect of things. It was really unexpected to actually see something coming out of the buisness club and the family / backstory of the Protagonist. I was really happily suprised and am stoked to play takus route to put the puzzle together, before starting hikaru! +/- i kinda liked that one of the "bad" ends isnt actually a bad end but that you end up with the rival. I would have liked that it would have been called something else (i mean okay, yeah i failed to get to tatsuya but that doesnt mean the decisions were wrong no...?) anyhow i would like to see more of this in the future! -/+ idk why but while it wasnt bad at all, the story seemed to drag sometimes. There were twists and tention but even tho i was invested in the characters, i observed this. I cant tell why tho, so it might just have been a bad day for me personally!
in short:
this route was absolutely solid. It was a bit trope-y but really balanced so nothing stood out negatively (and i am usually very strict with this, so this ia a big positive). If you like a lil rough (but not too rough) start that turns into deep feelings, this is absolutely it.

I do recommend Tatsuya's route but didn't like him as much as I expected. They weren't kidding about his hot/cold personality which causes a lot of conflict between him and MC. Leaving little time where the characters actually see eye to eye and communicate, let alone be happy together. I do recommend it because it's written well but don't expect a lot of romance going into this one folks!

This route was longer that Shou's (I think I finished it in about 4 hours). I didn't like Tatsuya much - but bear in mind, that this is not the issue with how he was written, just my personal taste. I usually enjoy more serious characters and I started liking him quite a lot, but as the story progressed, and some of his flaws were shown (which is a good thing), I lost interest, as he's not that kind of person I would be into. I actually bonded more with Takumi in this route and as for love interest, I was far more interested in Katsu.
Good things:
Improvements. This route is significantly better done, than Shou's one. Choices are done a bit better, I think there are more CGs overall, there are bad endings (although they were pretty fine for me), main route is longer, story is more interesting, has better pacing and feels compelling. Antagonist. I really like Katsu. He's great, fleshed out character, with flaws, but overall acceptable and intriguing personality. I find him more interesting than Tatsuya and I actually agreed with how he perceive certain things and what he was fighting for - and that's a sing of very good writing. He wasn't really evil, he was just representing other side of the conflict, which I also enjoyed.
Bad things:
Epilogue. Again. Meh. I don't mind extra parts of the story, but if this "extra part" of the story cost more than half of the main one price, I expect something more. Again, it's short, it feels more like an explanation of things that happen during main route, than a conclusion and drags quite a bit. If you haven't fall for Tatsuya, you won't get much enjoyment out of it. Protagonist. Holy sh*t, Tsubasa, calm down. Don't get me wrong, she has pretty good moments during this route (definitively more than with Shou), but boy, is she overreacting. Final verdict is the same - worth playing, but buy epilogue only if you really like Tatsuya.

I loved Tatsuya so much. I have an undying love for shy men, so he caught my attention. The “ex factor” was cliché, but I dare to say, I actually felt jealous? Don’t know if it was the writing or the character himself, I felt protective towards Tatsuya. The villain was good this time, and had a motivation that made more sense. And there’s Tatsuya’s brother: he is adorable! I wanted to pinch his red cheeks~ But there was something that broke my heart on this route…
TAKUMI’S CONFESSION. WHY THE DEVS WERE SO MEAN TO DO THAT?? It was painful to see him crying… ;_;
8/10. Definitely one of my favorite routes of this VN!
