I played the original Yesterday adventure, The Next Big Thing and all Runaway titles. I enjoyed those games.
But this one I did not. It is just bad.
Point that stood out for me in a negative way:
- gameplay is horrendously bad (controller or mouse, makes no difference)
- story and characters were weird, I could not relate
- bugs and red debug error messages appearing all the time
- strange puzzles, but overall too easy
- game end is kinda abrupt
- player's time is not respected:
-> not sequences you cannot skip which just traps you watching and waiting for nothing
-> it is hard to sometimes to select the thing you want to interact with
-> inspecting objects/characters was an interesting idea, but was way to complicated and slow
What I liked:
- artwork was good
- at least some puzzles were fun
