Yet another great map dlc from the team, only 2 maps this time but people got what they asked for a Boss fight on 'Reaching out'. One new weapon for Krubsie he needed something specialk he got an Executioner sword that seperates rat head from body. Courier is a sweet map with some great touches in ambient surroundings. I have yet to buy a DLC I didn't like

Low amount of content for 7€ only 2 maps and only one new weapon, Also one of the maps is really short. No idea why they don't make dlc include one new weapon for all characters, it shouldn't be that hard compared to making maps atleast... Minimum amount of content for this kind of price should be atleast 3 maps and 2-3 weapons, this dlc is just lazy and overprised.

Love Vermintide (played it for over 100 hours) but the price for 2 mediocre maps is just wrong. I picked it up on summer sale 15% off and I still feel cheated. This DLC shouldn't cost more than $4 regular price.

What can I say? Fine craftsmanship as always. Both maps are beautiful and well done, big and fun.
And now we have actual boss fight.
Weapon is headshot-focused, so it's should be good in pro hands, not some nube-tube. Keep it up, FS, you guys know we always want more.

One of the lesser map DLCs that the game has on offer, it's still worth getting, but only at a heavy discount.

Wasn't happy with this DLC. One of the worst paid DLC for Verms. They seem to be charging about the same as what they do for 3 full maps and 2 weps but now the content is cut in half. I won't be playing these much after the initial release.

Lots of new quality voiceacting, two solid maps that I'll take any day over something like Summoner's Peak. A bossfight that is a breath of fresh air to the gameplay. And to top it all off an extremely satisfying weapon. Is it worth the full price for most people? Probably not. Get it on a sale. If you're an enthusiast though, go for it.

Look I enjoy this game, but my problem is not with the game it's with this expansion/two maps. I think the main problem is all of the other maps are so well designed and have a wonderful flow and amazing replayability. Where these two maps are incredibly short and in general feel like a jumbled mess. There's nothing new as far as ideas or concepts and it all feels extremely forced and subpar. I can only play the first map and I spent my first two run-throughs bumping into nonstop invisible walls very well illustrating the lack of flow, the environment is dull and lacks identity. The second map I cannot complete because when the "new boss" pops at the end my game instantly crashes it doesn't even generate an error code thank you for the quality bug testing. Bugs aside these maps feel incredibly rust and mediocre at best compared to the shining content of the previous maps. I really want support the developers of this game that I enjoy but honestly not if they want to produce this kind of half-baked content. To be honest I feel the community should hold them to a higher standard than what they've shown here.

I bought this DLC because Vermintide is a very good game. So I decided to support the game development buying this DLC as soon as it was possible. But the price/quality , in comparision with the others DLCs isn'ts good enough in my humble opinion. The others DLC are much better than this. More maps, more objets and gameplay in this one is too short. I rather prefer pay 9€ for the other two DLCs than pay 7€ for this. This DLC should be 4.99€-5.49€... I was thinking on claiming for a refund...but then I remember all the good times this game has bring to my life... And almost all my friends need me for playing those maps because they won't buy this DLC. So, I decided to keep the game and consider this a donation for a good cause. I hope Fat Shark will improve this DLC with others object, or anothers "Last Stand" level or something like that. Then I will change my mind and give it a possitive feedback. Sorry for my Thumb down boys... (and sorry for my english)

A hesitant recommendation. Wait until this goes on sale before you buy it. Why? I finished both maps within an hour, and there is only one new weapon available, a weapon that isn't particularly different from the standard greatsword for Kruber, or the Zweihander for Saltzpyre. And having played 200+ hours on console, I can only say that it feels almost identical in gameplay. Castle Drachenfells was a massive expansion with two very large maps and an excellent climatic battle map, full of new art and awesome new weapons. The best expansion by a country mile. Karak Azgaraz is also pretty fantastic. With two large maps and decent climax. The new weapons were only ok though but its almost worth it just for the fantastic new music and the Rangers dialogue. Stromdorf is decent. One largish map and a fairly small one-with a twist absolutely worth lauding-set in a... not too bad new setting. The rain looks ok? To be honest the new maps are rather bland. The fields don't stand out nearly as much as the snowy plains of the mountains, and the city itself is a pale imitation of Ubersreik's grungy glory. Also, its worth noting that Reaching Out is by far the biggest drain on your rig in this game, outclassing even the Garden of Morr and the White Rat for fps drop. I play a comfortable 65 fps on most maps, but find myself dropping down to 43-47 pretty regularly in Stromdorf. The new weapon is a big sword not very different at all from the greatsword, and that is all there is to it. Nothing exciting and honestly dissapointing, imo. We've had new weapons like the Volley Crossbow and the Glaive, so another greatsword is not even worth mentioning. If there was new music, except for one moment in Reaching Out, it wasn't good enough to stand out from the standard soundtrack. I didn't notice. All in all, its fine. New maps always add a little something to a game, even if they aren't very innovative or different from the rest. Worth buying on sale, but otherwise just play it for free with some friends or a generous pubbie.
