The software is the roughly same as its free counterpart (Fire Alpaca 64) but with new features and brushes being added constantly. It does run a lot better than its counterpart and the brushes that blend are immaculate, however, I do wish it was still a vector program so you don't have pixelation when you enlarge or shrink an image. Over all its a good affordable program for the price and would recommend it to people who already use Fire Alpaca 64.

Too many glitches, Too much lag, Can't even drag photos onto a blank canvas. Sick of resting the app because the brush and eraser tool want to work simultaneously, which bricks all commands. Get clipstudiopaint Instead

Absolutely worth paying for if you plan on long hours or using this for work. I adore FASE and can't recommend it enough

Been using the free one for years, and have since migrated to the paid one for about a year or 2 now as well. I dunno what I'd do without Fire Alpaca

The brushes and additional functionality make this worth it.

I've used this app for a few years now, and it definetly is my favorite drawing app compared to all the others i've tested. There might be comparable good ones, but FireAlpaca SE works the best for me.

i wont lie and say this isnt really worth 40 dollars. There is a free version, and its still pretty good. This version has some more accesability. Dark mode, visible brush types, etc. Really simple and easy to use

I used to think that this software is not worth it since it doesn't have much differences with the free app. However, when I saw that there was a discount, I decided to try it and see if I'd like it. Even though they're just very minor differences, I actually liked it. Drawing in dark mode is a lot more relaxing and not exhausting in the eyes. The more accessible brushes and frequent brush updates are also really nice. One thing that I wish they'd do though is to make this accessible outside of Steam and if they do, I hope that they give access to those who already purchased it from Steam. I really like this one and I don't regret the purchase, but I'd say that only buy it if there's a discount. For its full price, it would not be worth the minor differences. Other than those, I'll always be a loyal FireAlpaca user. Been using it since 2015 and I'm glad I'm finally able to use it without an add popping up immediately and not having to manually update it myself.

it occasionally lags but like. it gives a lot more options n stuff + dark mode!! im no longer Blinded every time i wanna draw!

It's basically the same as the free version, but this has a dark theme/mode and buying it helps to support the creator. I'd say if you liked the free version and want to support the creator, then buy SE. :3 That said, one thing I will note is if you don't open it through the Steam Client, the save options are greyed out. Not sure if intentional or glitch, but when it happened to me, opening through Steam instead of the desktop shortcut immediately fixed it, so just keep that in mind. <3
