What an absolute masterpiece! The amount of puzzles included in this game is more than The Room and The Room 2 combined. And the difficulty level has a taken a spike.
I really liked multiple endings bit that you guys have put in this game. Thanks Fireproof!

My favourite of the three games so far. Great vibes, intuitive "spatial puzzles" and fetch quests. Definitely recommend!
The central hub world with its branching rooms works really well and never feels overwhelming. The use of the lens to go on short journeys is really nice, and you never have to worry that you've missed something there.
Building off of Room 2, the vibes and locations are excellent. In particular the use of
the zoetrope
and
mechanical Turk
were really nice.
I needed hints about once per room, and the hint system is pretty great. The first hint usually just tells you what area you should be in, without giving much away.
Two places that could be improved

1. It's hard to tell when you're missing an object vs just doing it wrong
There are a bunch of puzzles that you can only interact with in a very specific way and it feels bad to get stuck, look up a hint, and then it sends you back to somewhere you've already looked and tried to interact with. For example,
the telephone only rotates clockwise, so when I tried to moved it counterclockwise, it didn't move, so I figured I was missing some handle or something. Even adding a bit of "wiggle" if it's moved in the wrong direction would help. The gear puzzle in the courtyard is like this too.

2. The
ending(s)
need to be reworked
*
Solving the same ending puzzles over and over to get the additional endings is tedious, and not fun. Keep the projector up and just allow players to add the final artifacts. Or open multiple different doors lining up with the 4 tarot cards.
*
The post-game material is mostly frustrating because of the clock puzzle and the chandelier/safe puzzles gating the rest. These two puzzles are so unlike everything else in the game and require the player to interact with objects in counter-intuitive ways. The post-game puzzles could be more like "expert" versions of what we've done earlier in the game to make us feel smart and that we've grown.
* The lack of (formal) hints for the post-game is fine, but I'd love to have more "in game" hints (e.g. blue lens "paint", or themes to the artifacts like "sound", or the craftsmen's key hums/glows when you get closer to the relevant puzzle). As it is I just had to look up guides on steam (which is not ideal).

Lots of fun. Personally I prefer the original game for being just straight complex little compartments around *generally a singular piece. This game takes the original idea but adds a storyline concept, so you're solving the puzzle boxes with objects and mechanisms around the room. Forces some of the puzzles to segway you to the next part, so the downside is you're guided along what to do next in multiple parts. Overall, still had a lot of fun playing and enjoy the mystery and lore going into the game.

Love this series. Puzzles are sometimes easy, sometimes more nuanced, but not super hard. Got stuck a couple times finding the other endings but not too bad. Love the visuals and the feel of messing around with mechanical contraptions in dimly lit studies. Inject that aesthetic into my veins
My only complaint is make movement between areas considerably faster after you've done it once. The extra endings require you moving back and forth in the hub many times and these transitions are rather slow. Similarly, make an indicator that shows when you can click or interact, aka when a movement animation is done. A bunch of times I missed that you could use an item on something because I was still in a movement animation when I dragged the item over where it was meant to be used, and the game wouldn't let me use it during movement, confusing me.

My favorite entry in this series. The setting for this entry is more interconnected with every act, in contrast to the last entry. There's a main lobby of sorts, so the opportunity for solutions grew a lot. There's also multiple endings, so this one has the most replayability yet. Highly recommend.

The hardest and most frustrating of the rooms, however the story fills out and ends nicely................or does it?
Look for hidden puzzles to see it all. I mean hidden, if you got items that don't work anywhere it goes to something. I guarantee you.
