My least favourite from the series, but still respectable. It went too big and vast. Turned into mostly moving around rooms, instead of being mostly puzzle solving.

It's hard to know whether this or the next one is the best Room game, but I'd vote this. I adore getting to explore this sprawling and just slightly *wrong* estate. The puzzles are excellent as always, the atmosphere is really good, and the environments for this one have this lovely touch that feels natural. You're not opening puzzle boxes anymore, so much as working out a space's natural mechanisms. Solving the four main areas (all of which have more than one room, arguably) feels like exploring just as much as unlocking. In addition to these areas, there are secret puzzles in the main hub which you can do anytime you'd like. These are great, but tough, partially because they have no hints (when I first played this a few years ago, I had to call my dad over and ask how to work a rotary phone, which is probably not supposed to be the hardest part). Yeah. Not much else to say. I love Grey Holm and I love this game. Go play it.

Like the others in this series, so good! I just wish the extended, alternate endings included hints, (for those of us who aren't the sharpest tool in the shed and/or prefer easy gameplay in these difficult times).

It's worse than the previous two games, for two main reasons: 1. There is a lot of transitioning between areas and no indication where you should go next, in levels which consist of multiple rooms, so you end up going back and forth just to try to find the right place. That will add up to time you have to spend in this game, it's not like it would be much longer than the previous titles. I want to add that regarding the transition between places if you suffer from motion sickness it will trigger it. Turning 'motion blur' off doesn't always help much. It's not the worst game on that aspect, but I can't play it for longer than an hour before getting sick. 2. Controls seem a bit off, so to speak. For an example I've gotten "stuck" multiple times because I've been clicking and turning things and nothing has happened. Then I've opened an walk-through just to find out you should be able to proceed by doing just that, but for some reason the game hasn't registered it. Then I spend an minute doing it before it starts to work. I don't know is it some sort of lag or what but it's really annoying. The graphics are nice and I really like the Eldritch story, but it's also getting a bit confusing. I'm on the last level and honestly have no idea why I'm turning the lights on, I don't think it has been explained at all. You can skip all the letters because they don't really add anything to the story or to the puzzles. It's mainly just "well done you made it this far although I really doubted your intelligence you are proving me wrong", etc. Puzzles are fun and the mechanics look cool, and if I didn't have those issues with the controls I probably would of recommended it.

This game is fantastic, but on a PC with a mouse it sucks. You cant swipe with a mouse like you can on a touch screen, making it infuriating. I have this game on PC, iOS and Android. It is one of the best ever puzzle games, along with the rest of the series., but on PC with a mouse, they all have the same problem.

The Room 3 is undoubtedly the most challenging installment I've played so far in the series (yet to try The Room 4). It excels in detail with multiple intricately designed rooms and a captivating storyline. The inclusion of multiple endings was a standout feature, and the way every item tied together in the final puzzles was satisfying to see unfold. Admittedly, the back and forth between rooms felt a bit repetitive at times, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the immersive puzzles and atmospheric experience.

Yes! They managed to make another great sequel to this amazing series of puzzle games! Just play the first two and come back to this and keep playing! A minor note on this one, not really a fan of the whole multiple ending thing but that's just me...

A great puzzle game that has the most unique puzzle desings ı have seen . With 5 parts and 4 endings this game is very well made and polished ı recommend it however , some puzzles are very out there solving them isnt hard the problem is they are very rail roaded and hard to see . The moment u understand the basics of the puzzle your next 10 mins is repeating the task until its solved ; an example The Forge where u need to figure out how to open the main puzzle but after u figure out how u spend half the map time crafting the almost same key 3 times (ı had to craft 5 because ı forgot the right use time) u have to put the iron , re-do casts , pump air , watch the same animation , take the key out of the water this is only an example but the previous games didint had this. The ending are the main course of this game after puzzles and they are great , short and do not explain everyting and let the player think ı got them all and love them all getting them without a guide is ...hard The forge issue strikes again when getting the items for ending 2-3-4 and you have to go place A do 1 thing 10 second walk animation go place B do 1 thing many times u see the same animation of a certain card 4 times it gets old and this do translate to the ending where u solve end puzzle 4 times do 2 puzzle lens 4 times then do ending 2 item puzzle 2 times do ending 3 puzzle 2 times to get the endings.. Dont get me wring ı love this game ı recomend it its made by a studio with love and care however this game cares about unique puzzles that dont fit the enviroment and so many un-needed animations , which might be a nitpic. After room 1 , 2 , 3 this is most risk taking title ı recomend it grafics are great some areas are visual delights. this game is lovecraft and myst's baby and ı recomend ıt .

Out of the 3 room games I have played this is my least favorite. Here are a few reasons why: There was entirely too much clicking to zoom in and out and the right click to go out of come areas but not out of item descriptions. The eye glass to go through portals seemed unnecessary as well. The theme of this one was not nearly as cool as room 2. The letters added nothing to the solutions, which I THINK a few did in room 2. The stories are very similar and starting to blur together. I might need to take a break before room 4. I also found it hard to figure out where certain objects went without going into every room again and clicking everywhere. Some things were hidden a bit TOO well. The multiple endings were cool in theory, but once again, repetitive. The graphics are awesome, as always. If you are going to play this game, I recommend making a LIST of the clues, what is needed to solve them (crank, socket/shape, power, etc), and where they are. That way you can check off what you have done and what you still have left. I wish I did that from the beginning. The whole thing took me 4 hours, with another 3 for the alternate endings. While it was nice to have a longer game, I found it way too confusing (especially the table map with ALLLLLL the portals.) I guess I would recommend, just not as much as room 2. I found room 1 to be a precursor just to get used to the game and puzzles.
