im officially retiring playing this game i got this game since it came out in 2016 (during my senior) and now 2025 im so done with this and im feeling burnt out i had fun with this game over 9 years and had great memories and its still a great game but... the reason why im quiting because its getting repetitive and boring and outdated and way too many dlcs with outrageous price with little characters with no effort and everytime new dlc announces it takes too long to release it and still haven't release future saga 3 and 4 like over a year instead we got lazy daima pack and its a waste of time now online is broken and neglected and i feel bad for new players have to forced themselves to buy all dlcs that cost almost $300(almost price as the cheap graphics card)and recommend you guys wait for huge holidays and summer sale discounts and save your money first before spending it bandai needs to move on and let it end already its been almost 10 years and they should be focusing more on sparking zero (tenkaichi 4) updates and more content or make xenoverse 3

multiplayer broke weeks ago and not only have they not fixed it, but havent even made a statement acknowledging it. great game otherwise but currently ruined by incompetence. never buying from these devs again if this doesnt get resolved soon.

I liked this game because they have transformation race multiplayer story mod and tournament that why because i like the game

Got this to play with my husband because we'd played DBX1 and DBX2 (when it had just released) while we were dating. Come to find out that, despite us both having Windows 10 and fairly matched for P2P, running off the same router/modem, we can't play multiplayer together. No raids, no online PQs, nothing. We've met no help or support from Bandai Namco on this recurring issue, insinuating that we have to update to Windows 11 since Microsoft is cutting support for Windows 10 come October and BN continues to release DLC that breaks the game for PC even if you don't buy it. All of this in the wake of a Steam sale, no less. It was certainly a better and less off-putting experience when the game initially dropped for us way back, but coming back to this puts a sour taste in my mouth as a customer and as one that purchased a figurative wagon with only one working wheel, when it's advertised to come with four working wheels. In good conscience of the product and of other players, I can't recommend DBX2 at this time. Perhaps if they fix it or address it appropriately and provide restitution in the form of a solid fix, I will change the review. Thank you.

The only reason I got this game again on pc was to play with my friend and the lobby is broken

I have 235 hours on here, 1400 or so hours on xbox, almost 300 (I think) hours on playstation.. the fact this game still gets new stuff, updates, etc is amazing albeit a little disapointing with how expensive and less quality the dlc has been. Game is fun, has decent combat, though can get stale after a few 100 hours, after all the dlc, which again is a bit expensive BUT is on sale often thankfully, you'll have a asston of characters. Hell, currently the only dbz game with DBSH characters. The pvp is kinda toxic, and a bit spammy, but the single player mode is where it's at. So much potential, so amny wonderful events, many that I missed the past couple of years, but I'd say this is practically the best dbz game we've had in all time with how long it's runnign, the support, playerbase, etc. Sparking zero can eat dust lol.

I really enjoyed creating my own Z-Fighter and becoming the strongest in the universe. Although I'm getting older so my reflexes are nerfing me and I yield the title to whoever wants to go Super Saiyan 10.

Online is broken for anyone without windows 11, as a linux and win10 user this means i cant play online at all. This has been an issue for half a year as of writing this. Id avoid getting the game untill this is fixed

Im leaving a negative review due to the fact you're unable to play online unless your on windows 11. The game itself is alright although its really hard to find a lobby so i mainly play offline with mods which imo is better than playing regularly. The grinding becomes really annoying too and almost everyone on pc uses a save editor so it defeats the purpose of playing legit.

Bandai broke the online with an update a good while ago and hasn't fixed it since, the game feels abandoned. It's one of my favorite games but it's currently impossible to play PvP or PvE with friends due to a countdown timer bug in the game lobby, it gets stuck on 0 and everyone gets stuck in the waiting room. Also i've seen multiple people complaining about problems with "ghost lobbies", a situation where other player characters never show up in the main online lobby where you walk around and select what you want to play. With all that mentioned, i conclude that they're clearly selling a product that claims to have online multiplayer but currently has that feature mostly broken and unusable. Very frustrating to see a game i liked so much abandoned like that, and like, they don't stop putting out new dlcs in the game so they could've just fixed it. Also yeah the game having a ton of dlcs that cost way more than the game itself is a bad look as well, for gods sake make a pack with *all of the dlcs* for a decent price
