I have tried absolutely everything that's been suggested to my best ability in order to fix this, but every time I try to launch the game, I get the easy anti-cheat screen, it loads, then I get a black window for the game. Afterwards, the game crashes I have tried downloading the required permalinks, Uninstalling and reinstalling the game, validating the files, redownloading the latest drivers, and running the game as administrator. Nothing has worked, and this seems incredibly predatory to have the game on sale, since others have been suffering the same fate

I was a huge fan of the game and I waited a few years because friends told me it was bugged, and foolish me, I thought that after 10 years they would have fixed it. The game in general has input reading issiuses, very noticable in Zamasu's lessons, sometimes it's also unfairly punishing and combined with the AI input reading it creates a very unplesant experience. After finishing the main story (that's the only good part) I still aim to finish the parallel quests for fun, overall it's not a game I would recommend buying over other Dragon Ball games.

It's never a good sign that you can't even read the user agreement because the game won't open in your native resolution and the settings can't be changed before you agree to everything. How can such a large company epically fail before I've even started the game?

I wouldn't recommend this game if you're playing on a 27-inch 1440p monitor. The outdated textures become very noticeable at that resolution, and the visuals feel dated. Despite releasing so many DLCs over the years, the developers never updated the game with higher-resolution textures. I ended up refunding it and will probably buy Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO instead, or just wait for Xenoverse 3.

This game is good, better than before, but the price for the DLC is a bit too much.

I played this game for 100+ hours on ps4 years ago and now that i have a PC, i wanted to play it again. Bad news, it's dead. There was no one playing, i couldn't find anyone to fill a mission lobby and let me tell you, you NEED people to help you with high difficulty missions. Sadly, this game is virtually unplayable now. Save your bucks and go for something else.

one of my all time favourite childhood games, this games genre is so special. i love everything about this game apart from how dead it is, eeeeeeeeverything. will buy xenoverse 3 as soon as it goes up for sale, no matter the price. rest in piece akira toriyama, thank you for creating this franchise.

No longer works on Steam Deck because of kernel level anti-cheat being added to a 10 year old game. EDIT: Looks like singleplayer content is still accessible if you shut off your Deck's wifi connection before launching the game, and then turning it back on after launch. Letting the negative review stand until the devs patch out the check before you even access online content.
