Good Game. Fun Game. Lotssss Of Bugs, Still Fun Though.

Just bought this yesterday, installed and wanted to play...took forever to create a character as the mouse would not click on any of the buttons...their hitboxes were way off. Finally got into the game, was on an online server...and 30 seconds after joining just as I am starting to look around and explore and try to figure the game out an admin ports me to some caged area where I can't do anything....and then demands I join their discord. No thanks, this isn't the game for me. Not being forced onto someones discord just to be allowed to play on a server. What a stupid setup.

Decent game at it core, very bad business practice from Funcom. Selling overpriced items are bad enough, they even pushed it further by introducing rotation store, they pushed your FOMO instinct to spend money on their overprice items. What is funnier is that Funcom literally ignore any complain about this situation, even outright ban people for it. Should have not get this game on discount and continue pirate it, Yes i pirate this thing and decide to buy it, including every DLC to support the dev because how good this game is, only to find out their anti consumer practice, shame on you Funcom. It also doesn't stop there, game itself is a buggy mess, like literally, both friendly and enemy AI are super dumb and annoying. There is even a bug that literally ban you for spending real life money to buy premium currency, like wtf? you pay for the game and now you got ban just by paying for in game currency? The ban here is not normal like you think, it straight up doesn't let you play the game, even in single player. They keep adding patches that broke the game even further, if you don't believe me go to this game reddit, people post about bugs all the time. Finally, customer service is terrible,i have register for a reward in game yet it been 2 weeks since then i doesn't even recieve any reward. If you really like this game, just pirate it, it is more stable and even able to support most of the mods. Otherwise, this game or this company doesn't deserved your money

Love this game. Played it for years on PS4 and PS5. Finally made the move to PC and its even better.

One minute you’re crafting your dream base, the next you're being slapped into the next dimension by a raging rhino 🦏💀. Every resource is precious, every battle is a gamble, and every corner hides something terrifying. A hardcore survival adventure that will have you questioning your life choices. 10/10, would get caught in a thrall raid again. 🔨😂 Only downside? Some bugs here and there, but hey, it’s all part of the survival experience... right? 🐞

After putting hundreds of hours into the games like Valheim or 7 Days to Die, this one seemed just inferior in everything. Other than that, it's a bugfest and dedicated servers are sometimes impossible to set up while playing co-op is just pathetic because you can't move 100 meters away from the host. Seems unfinished, left halfway through the development. Would not recommend this game in 2025.

10 trillion years later Co-op is still d0gshit ,cannot connect to my friend (No i will not rent server to play for 2 days and then abandon) fix your broken game and maybe people will play it

I wanted to give this a positive review, but the big problem with it is BattleEye wants me to disable my Windows security or the game won't run. It's a non-competitive single player or coop game that shouldn't require this or active online connection. Funcom could've gone with a less intrusive anti-cheat. That and they're basically funded by Tencent's tentacles now. Other than that, the gameplay itself is similar to Ark or any other survival builder game with a dash of mythology theme, nothing innovative, and some bugs, freezes, and jank as well.

Why on EARTH does offline singleplayer not work?? It's clear that it used to - I did some research before buying and in many reddit threads it says it does as long as one puts Steam in offline mode. yet that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

I have been sleeping for 4 hours a night since I bought this game. It has base building/survival/MMMORPG elements. There's also a companion system. It has depth and a wide variety of mechanics, but once you get the hang of it, you'll find it's not that complex. You can choose your gameplay style, like PVP or PVE, dungeons / monster slaying, or focusing on companions, or construction. You may choose to build a village or even a town, either alone (with NPCs) or with friends (plus your NPCs). There's also a raid mechanic ("Purge") where you defend your base from enemy NPCs. The only downside is the numerous bugs. Your NPC companions can get stuck, combat system is a bit wonky, auto crafting doesn't start, etc. But overall, these bugs do not diminish the fact that it is a pure time sink. I know some people who took time off from work just for this game (neither confirming nor denying that this was my friends and me).
