This new map is beautiful and fun to play. I love how you can see the Horn of Magnus and the Wizard's tower off in the distance. I wish that they had included a more interactive environment for defending the castle, like moveable barriers, unlockable areas to explore, and more explosive barrels. But for the price it's definitely worth your while.

They may not always hit their exact release dates, but damn. These Devs are really making big strides in all the right directions. This DLC is really cheap for the amount of time you can get out of it, not to mention they released the gamemode itself and another map for free. Also, as other people have said, only the host requires this DLC for other people to play with them (if they don't also have it).
In general, survival is a breath of fresh air in the game, and both maps (the free one and this one) are absolutely fantastic. You can tell a lot of thought went into the chokepoints, the skaven spawn points, and the placement of eventual supplies/badges. The DLC map, In my opinion, is well worth the purchase for those reasons. It has obvious chokepoints, but also really creative areas in between said points that make those team-scattering rushes all the more interesting as you try to re-unite with your comrades. Sometimes you'll find youself fighting sideways up a shallow set of stairs, other times rushing to hold the tide back in narrow courtyards that are just big enough to promote the right amount of chaos.
Overall, and this is less about the paid DLC and more about the Survival mode in general, I believe the game really shines in that situation; especially if you've played all the other maps to death, as a lot of us have (not a complaint since I just love the combat in general). This map adds to the fun with an alternate setting in which to test your mettle and earn precious crafting materials; I can't wait to see what they come out with next.

First and foremost, let's make something abundantly clear (and a factor that Fatshark has thus far kept as a badge of honor, even in the far more monetized Vermintide 2).. Only one person needs to own this DLC, meaning that you can invite friends, even if they do not own the DLC. this should be industry standard, but hey.. Gotta make them shareholders happy.
Other that that this is a single map for LAST STAND, not the original game mode, and gives you the fantastic and picturesque Schluesselschloss located above the Schluesselschlossschleuckt (now say it quickly three times..); the only decent passage from the Teufeltal to Ubersreik. In the story the Skaven seeks to control it and it is up to the U5 to stop their diabolical scheme..
This is a miniscule DLC that is only needed if you really live for the Last Stand part of Vermintide, otherwise look elsewhere. Personally I like the map and its top notch representation of an Imperial Fort, now if only we could get more than one Last Stand map for V2..

Oh this vermin is constantly trying to enter my castle, I am going to build a wall, but for now you have to defend it.
I will make Ubersreik great again.
For the price it is reasonable and quite the looker.
I made it to wave 26 with randoms (average lvl ~80) but the loot was not that good. For looting purposes I recommend Horn of Magnus.

For Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, the DLC of Schluesselschloss gives you a single map for the last stand mode, the Schluesselschloss.
Your first task and challenge will be to pronounce it, then after that you will need to motivate 3 people to play it with you as the rewards for this, and indeed the entire last stand mode are at best mediocre and at worst nonexistent.
Luckily for them, they do not need to own it to play with you- As long as the host owns the DLC it is available to anyone who joins them.
The map itself is well made, with just enough supplies unlocking over time and many potentially great places to hold out, all of them flawed just enough to be a challenge. It looks pretty well, has a great view and is not too big or too small.
The price is a bit much for a single map, so I recommend only buying it if you want to support the game and developer. Otherwise, you will probably be able to find better value elsewhere

Cool DLC
A Last Stand/ Horde Mode was long overdue in my Opinion and finally arrives now in Vermintide. Fantastic designed Map with lots of Action and Challenge. 3€ is an absolute fair Price as i think. That other Players can join Schlüsselschloß, even if they don´t own the DLC themselves, along with the one new free Map anyway for the Hordemode, makes it worth the buy and gives a good Opportunity to support this fair Developer.
Overall 8/10

The negitive reviews for this map are just sickening, a single map and all they are asking for is £1.99 are you really that cheap its basicly the price of a burger from Macdonalds.
Positive vote to stop the whining children.

This is what I like in DLC. Reasonably priced for the content investment and doesn't DLC lock your friends out. I am happy to give money to Fatshark. And no I cannot pronounce it either.

Owning this DLC will let you invite friends to play with you even if they do not own the DLC!
Thats the best line I have heard in a long time for a DLC.
