Cheaper than an actual model but has more effort and more expense put in to it. 10/10 proof that GW is trash.

she is clearly made only to make sisters of sigmar alittle more even with everyone els because yeah the sisters cannot allready beat people without ranged weapons, doh this class is still featuring melee it just looks and works as a ranged player with a sisters of sigmar strength. But she has no deal to do with them, besides work for them but this seems like this should have been added as loan deal and free, and then made an dlc feature to one of the races. Her design is laxy, 1 hat features colors for the feathers, 1 shirt, 2 arm designs not featuring anything new looking lazy, the pants was taken hero class design of the human, lazy. Why this is not a free update since she is clearly all loaned from other faction, which the hero loan system should feature allready lawl, and dont come and say things like: "but its named smugglers, duh". its lazy and should have been free lawl make something cooler :P The globe rat is atlest an acturel classs from the rats, and he was needed to make their ranged playstyle give them more benefit since the direct combat leads them to be slaugthered.

I was able to finish the Mercenaries campaign because of that DLC. She is a big game changer. Her white powder traps (not the black powder traps!) are able to stunt an ennemy unit. This allows the control of otherwise tricky places as it reduces the number of places where you can be attacked. Just put traps in strategic locations (stairs, doorways, narrow streets) and you will be able to control the battlefield. She also has a lot range when running. With a rifle in hand, she can run at the top of a building while leaving few traps behind her and safely snipe any target around. She can also rush to scavange items on the ground. She is not affected by traps, making her a good runner. (But she will never get the rare bonuses like Gift of Savagery) She is perfect for ranged human mercenary packs.

Gives ranged units more roll in the human warbands and also gives a lot of utility to warbands. Worth it.

I'm the dandy highwayman who you're too scared to mention I spend my cash on looking flash and grabbing your attention The devil take your gear and your warband collection! (oh-oh) The way you look you'll qualify for next year's old age pension! Staaaaaaand and deliveeeeeeer your wyrdstone or your life Sorry, everything about this smuggler matches so well with the Stand and Deliver song. Totally recomended, and on top of that (and her head) shes wearing a tricorn.

*This review is for The Smuggler DLC only A solid unit that is edging OP status, especially if used properly and aligned with the right skill sets. The DLC bundle I purchased included the Globethrower and the Smuggler (this), and the price is fairly reasonable especially while it is on sale. The DLC included two level 7 smugglers with purple gear and free unassigned skill points. The Smuggler units can hold their own, lock down an area and as of late has been earning MVP awards for doing the most damage and killshots.

People will complain about immersion break. That is unfair, Sisters are human, and to them keeping the city (and the rest of the empire) safe from wyrdstone is their primary concern. Whos to say that there isnt a smuggler out there who agrees witht them but just feels money is important too? Its not unfeasable. Also she is, by far, amazing. The smuggler in a sisters warband is grade A cheddar. Access to non hammer weapons and guns broadens the scope of the warband considerably and gives you breathing room with her high speed and good agility. two dollars might be alot for a single unit type, but she definetly wont dissapoint.

I feel the same way about this as I do about the Skaven addition: Seems fun for the EMPIRE crew where it belongs but makes no sense at all for the SoS. A non-hammer-wielding projectile user working together with a group of sigmar fanatics who are hording mordite to keep it out of the hands of naughty heratics? Lunacy! Better if they had made some new sigmarite who can chuck throwing hammers or something...

Pros: -Zone control hero unit -Brings new gameplay options and tactical approaches to the table -Probably the best ranged unit for the Sisters -Minefields are fun Cons: -Immersion-breaking; this hero was obviously meant as a Mercenary hero, but was added to the Sisters as well -Feels slightly overpowered next to the other hero unit options, particuarly at the start of the game -$2 for one unit seems like a money-grab Overall: So I take issue with spending money on unlocking a single unit. But the unit itself is a lot of fun to play, It's worth buying if you enjoy the base game and have nothing else to do with your two dollars. Making bombs and watching enemies run the gauntlet of exploding traps is, well, a blast, and the smuggler is versatile enough to fit into most warbands, regardless of composition. In fact, that versatility makes them a better choice in many cases. They don't break the game, but they do feel a bit more powerful than the other "hero" options. If you're hesitant, wait for a sale. The unit is fun and comes with some amusing gimmicks, but is also entirely unnecessary to enjoy the base game to the fullest. Bottom LIne: Worth it if you like the base game.
