Narcissu 10th Anniversary Anthology Project Reviews

"Life is like a waiting room, except people don't leave in the order they enter." Narcissu is a thought provoking visual novel series about terminal illness, living, dying, and the relationship between those leaving and those left behind. There are no miracles, no heroes, no villains in this story.

This visual novel evokes emotions in me about the value of life, understanding people's feelings, and their psychology. The music in the visual novel gives a nostalgic, classic, gentle, and sad feeling, which I really enjoy. Regarding the story, although there are some parts I don’t agree with the author, overall, the script of this visual novel is very good. As for ranking the Narcissu parts I’ve experienced, it goes like this: Narcissu: Zero > Narcissu 2 > Narcissu: Sumire > Narcissu > Narcissu 2 - Himeko's Epilogue > Narcissu: A Little Iris. If you want to read it, you can follow the release timeline to fully experience and understand the entire story. 8/10
