RATMAN, I HATE YOU Deadlight: Director’s Cut? More like Dead a thousand times on Ratman’s stupid traps Cut. I came here for zombies, survival, and a deep emotional story.. not to participate in some rat-themed Saw movie. Ratman, you little sewer goblin, I hope the next rat you eat gives you food poisoning. Your traps turned me into a professional death speedrunner. I swear I spent more time dying in your Spikes than running from zombies. By the time I escaped, I wasn’t scared of zombies anymore. I was scared of pressure plates. 10/10 would suffer again.

Played this game many, many times literally years ago and always having fun from cinematic platformer gameplay style like in Flashback and Another World, but with more "free" main character movement. But story then and now is weak, uninteresting and uninspired, so for me it's just fun little game that barely anyone remember and, for some reason, it feels good to play once in a few years. I was even surprised when found that Deadlight has a Steam release.

I was really enjoying this game and then I went to bed, when I started it up again my entire 2 hours of gameplay was completely lost and I had to start from the very beginning - many other reviews state the exact same thing How is this still an issue almost a decade after release? It's a shame because the game is really fun and maybe I'll pick it back up when I'm not annoyed and just smash it out in a day but this is actually so disappointing
