Dunno much about the RM2k series, but this game looks pretty, feels good, sounds good, AND the battle theme is Battle1! Cinema! Which I don't know if it's a REMIX of RMXP's Battle1 but I don't see this song in the RM2k series' OST... Would love to know more.
Also, I don't know how much of the battle system is modified, but the combat system is really cool for me. Watching the Wait timer is crucial and is almost like watching frame data. The idea of only levelling your items too is really nice, and everything comes together neatly in a way that feels like a game like Riviera... or any other Sting game. Dirt cheap, I recommend it.

Short turn-based RPG with some nice combat mechanics. Grinding and dying on purpose might be needed in the early parts to augment weapons and health. worth the price, for sure

It's 2 bucks so you have absolutely nothing to lose. Try this one out if you're a fan of RPGs in any form.
