such a shockingly impressive improvement from launch for a game that seemed doomed from the start a'la overkill's the walking dead. I'm glad to recommend this game now

The game pretty much died soon after release in 2017 - 2018, but apparently it was then later down the line, picked up by a small team called the M.U.G team(?) (MUG maniacs rise up)
Long after the games original release it then started to randomly get MAJOR updates. The game engine, skills, gameplay balance, ALL OF IT has been overhauled. And it's actually really fun now.
As of writing, the game hasn't quite garnered a huge community around it yet, and as such there aren't very many people playing it online at the moment, but it's still fun to play it solo, and even more fun if you can get some friends to play it with! Hopefully this game can get some more attention and make a proper comeback!

RAID is back.
With the resurgence update, the is now truly up to the standard that one would expect from a four player coop.
Its launch reputation was scarring, but the game has truly healed. Its a very fun, casual shooter with a good amount of tongue in cheek humour and flare.
If youre a fan of Payday 2, you will appreciate how the game handles skills and classes now. There are dedicated classes now, so you can't just spec in to the best skill of each class, you can instead play your chosen class in different styles. And the games health system (obviously Wolfenstein inspired) is pretty refreshing.
SInce the playerbase right now is pretty small, its actually got quite a nice community feel. And the current devs are open and active on the discord.
Seriously hop on and play it, its everything I wanted from Payday 2.

Despite having a lot in common with the Payday series, this new insallment holds its ground thanks to brilliant character design, amazing setting and glorious massacres of Nazis. Great game especially with friends.
