There is a short sequence in this game that I can only describe as "unwanted sexual advances" It was a pretty neat game.
Intro
Suits: A Business RPG asks us the question that many other RPGM games had asked: what if I made a RPG Maker game that is very fucked up? In that regard, Suits does manage to hit the mark. Clearly reminiscent of hit pieces like OFF, this short little game brings us through a fucked up story line about how capitalism can destroy a society from the inside and gut it from the inside out. While the positives are very positive, the game still has some errors that holds it a bit back from its full potential as a true Fucked Up RPGM Game classic. Let's dive in a little bit. TL;DR: A solid 7/10 game on the Fucked Up RPG Maker Games with great inspiration from OFF. An overall good experience only held back by too many silly 420 jokes and some unpolished and unbalanced gameplay that can feel a bit frustrating at times. At 4 hours of playthrough without going 100% (althokught it's possible) it's a great value for 1$
Positives
Let's start with the wrapping. Art-wise, this game clearly drinks from cult classic OFF aesthetics: hand drawn, black and white and grotesque. Still, it manages to have its own vibe and tone, setting the game as colorless from the beginning instead of having the colors fade and making the hand drawn, pen on paper style very clear. The simple pixel art for sprites contrast with the intrincate designs of sprites in combat. The OST hits the mark with its dark and industrial ambient
(save the song about dinosaurs)
that is unsettling enough for us to never feel comfortable in any part of the game. Pitched up or down versions of some song can be heard in combat, adding to the strange eerines of the whole ambiance. Overall, a great work form the composer to make us feel like we don't truly belong here. Finally, the narrative and story in the game is compelling enough for me to keep going. It helps that my anarchist ass also wants to see capitalism crash and burn under it's own weight, so I might also be a bit biased here. Still, it has some shortcomings that I will go into later. Summing it all up:

Good stilistic and art choice
Pretty well made OST
Interesting plot points and little secrets
Overall narrative feels compelling to follow

Negatives
Starting where I left it on the positives, the narrative is held back by the insurmountable amount of 420 and scatological jokes. Don't me wrong, I love weed jokes as much as the next guy, but when you have this game trying to tell you a complex story about how capitalism is a soulless machine feeding the meat of discarded workers back to them, it takes you off a bit when there are constant clocks at 4:20 or you find "a dank bag of oregano". I get it, but it feels a bit too much at times. On that note, some scenes and dialogues feel weirdly too sexual. Again, I'm not against it in a pearl-clutching puritanical way, but more like "why is this here". Especially
on the 5 minutes wait section at the bank (which, btw, pretty funny on its own)
it really felt uncomfortable at times, since I literally can't do anything as a player to move away from the situation. As much as a I get that is a dark game with dark comedy and all, in this specific case it felt a bit unnecessary. Finally, let's talk gameplay. Usually a RPGM game is gonna have, well, RPG elements, specially turn based combat. Ignoring the shortcomings that may occur just by the fact of using RPGM as an engine, the combats themselves seemed unbalanced, specially with the addition of Jerome. Seeing that obtaining the one and only party member of the game feels like a secondary quest that can be missed, It's not hard to imagine that combat could get frustrating fast as a one man army. But with Jerome, having the chance of paralysing enemies from 1 to 5 turns to do whatever you want, some boss battles are incredibly trivialized, including the final boss battle, which takes away most of the dramatic charge of the encounter. Additionally, random encounters, especially in the Undercity, feel way more powerful than their boss counterparts. Farming for some upgrades felt complicated and a bit hard on resources, since save points don't recover HP/MP, but then getting said upgrades and leveling up felt like overkill for certain bosses, since there is a real chance of perma stunning them for the whole combat. Summing it all up:

Narrative and overall dialogue is held back by a bit too much of weed and sex jokes
Gameplay lacks polishing and balancing
Jerome feels simultaneously too strong because of paralysis and too weak because of low damage output
Lacking a heal on save mechanic strain too many resources on healing items

Conclusions and final notes
Suits: A Business RPG is a love letter to the classics and an overall enjoyable experience if you are used to games on this vibe. With a final personal score of a 7/10, I'd say it's a good entry point in the subgenre of Fucked Up RPGM Games at 4 hours of game time for 1$. Great references to Mortis Ghost and the Batter, by the way. Got a chuckle out of me
