- 3 guys needed heroin, but had no money -lets make the facade of a game that appeals to a current trend -first was zombies - devs got so high and then bored and actually created some content (seemingly by typing random symbols for code) -spent all their 28 dollars they made from the game on heroin, ran out and abandoned their scam -devs dont have jobs cause thay are pajama boy neats (using Unity personal gave it away) -so the legend continues that every time they get money somehow they write a little more code -then devs started feeling bad they scammed 14 people, so they worked extra hard to get money for drugs so they could give the people what they promised A SURVIVAL EPIC -so they got high and typed some more code -it dawned on them that these steam users they scammed are total mean jerks (comments hurt their feelings and everywhere must be a safe space). So being the snowflakes that they are, started trolling, 8 out of the 14 people who still expected the game, with their 'trying times' 'working so hard' narratives. -these devs arent the first to take advantage of the 'give us money before we do any work' early access -there they sit in their section 8 housing in Newark NJ to this day -they are mostly dopesick, writing, puking, aching -sometimes they score -sometimes they cant find a vein If steam users really wanted a game, they would have sent more money

Survival Is Not Enough looks to be a cheap version of 7 Days to Die, perhaps with a hint of Rust. However, unlike the afore-mentioned games, this is only a single-player game (no multiplayer option is available). You can chop down trees and use the wood to construct buildings. There are firearms and grenades to fight enemies. Not a lot of instruction is given in the game, so you have to figure out a lot of it by yourself. It's an OKish game to play if you're bored, but it seems rather lacklustre. I'd rate it at about 4.5/10. Considering the absence of decent instructions and the game's lack of intuitive appeal, I can't really recommend Survival Is Not Enough.

should have read the reviews. I thought for $10 cant be that bad. It is. Its pretty much minecraft. This game has potential to be good but it just fails. My complaints are the frame rate.. very choppy. And trust me, I am playing much more complicated games like Bioshock that runs smoother than this. You have to find these campfires for savepoints. I did all this work, built myself a hideaway. finally found a campfire, saved my progress. But when I went back to play the game again on load last save, I ended up being back on day 1..(I had saved on day 4). I got my weapons but my dwelling was gone. I got frustrated and stopped playing. My hours that are recorded are is me pausing the game because I couldnt save it and minimizing it on my windows. Please fix this game. Like I said, it had lots of potential... but failed miserably..

The best part of Unity Engine is that you don't need to pay to develop and sell your game. However the worst part of Unity is the same. Survival is Not Enough is not a game. It maybe a prototype or a fast demo but not a full game. Not recommended even in a bundle.

This game is one of the few that make me feel bad about the people that don't know they can refund it. Ten dollars for this game is nuts, I wouldn't play this if it was free. The gameplay is boring and annoying at times. The performance of it is trash tier, the fps drops are abundant and will never return back to 60fps. The only good thing I can say about it is that it has a tutorial. But don't just take my word for it give it a watch. Thanks, XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LB5z5ruJ1N4

I played 7 minutes of this. It feels like a class project some kid slapped together the night before deadline. There's barely any content. Windowed mode doesn't work. I feel dirty having bought this game. Will be requesting a refund and hopping into the shower to wash the stupid off immediately after posting this review.

https://youtu.be/qEzWNZnT6o4 This game was originalley released as a game called operation Z. A pretty lacklustre bug filled shooter built on unity assets. So at least the latest build is an imporvement over that train wreck. It is now a pretty sub average survival game, built on unity assets. Still plenty of bugs. The crafting is limited to a few block types and a door. The only resource you can collect is wood. Everything else weapon wise is found in these treasure chests that litter the island. However these chests often only contain wood - the one resource you can actually harvest... This would not be so bad, but the only saving is either at a camp fire (I have only found one as you can't craft them) or at the start of a new day. That is assuming the save doesn't bug out and take away all your weapons. The weapons that can only be found in chests. And finally there is the enemeies. Almost every animal on the island will attack you. or each other. They will at least forget thier death match and team up to kill you. The zombies only come out at night. Unless they bug out as well and they don't show up. Except you need xombie blood and a campfire to craft a cure for the illness that is killing you. And the final frustration is the stamina meter. Even walking too far will set your heart racing, at which point it will start killing you until you rest. But as your usually being chased around by a herd of wild animals, good luck surviving that. So this game may be better than operation Z, but it still not worth the money in all honesty with the poor design choices, limimted crafted and many bugs.

Just remember: if you're illiterate, and/or you write constant typos in everything you work on, but you want to make video games with little to no effort? Don't worry. Steam greenlighted this broken mess, so there's plenty of hope for you. I ran it at the lowest texture count because the game had almost unplayable framerates at the highest settings, plus I was streaming and recording it at the same time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7uzo9WMiuw

This is astonishing in every negative sense of the word you could possibly infer. Maybe my favourite unique feature on show here is that every time you die, that frame rate drops just a little bit more to the point where if you die enough, it just looks like you're browsing a slideshow gallery of a late 90's game from development hell. Seriously though, some of the most bewildering garbage I have ever spent half an hour with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHzQuptjQaw
