This is the slowest game I've played in months. The story is so underdeveloped that I swear the lore repeats itself the ENTIRE GAME. You will have to read almost identical and uninteresting lore on virtually every interactable item. Everything is drawn out and repeated verbatim. Get this game if you want a hollow boring story told at a snail's pace in lackluster environments with the same three object models throughout

I played the first two chapters and then got bored. I'll probably finish the game, but I wouldn't buy it again.. For mobile VR I get the "easy on gpu" graphics.. but for PC the scenes feel empty, lacking detail and (so far) the puzzles are way to easy... If I could move faster I would definitely finished the game already. The "collectibles" are meaningless... it shows statues that make nothing and you get nothing from them.. so.. pointless..

I just downloaded this game and so far i’m dissatisfied. I know there’s a learning curve in all games but the game make me very motion sick. There may be some setting I missed but so far (all the time) i’m in a constant drift backwards. I have to continually press ‘forward’ just to hold my position. If I rest, I will drift off the edge and die. I’d like to get my money back but will keep trying for a while until I actually die.

I have been waiting for the PC release of Eclipse for a long time now, and I am happy that it finally came true. White Elk has earned a spot as my favorite VR game studio and I am always looking forward to the games that they release. Eclipse is a great Scifi exploration game that anyone with a VR needs to experience! i proudly give it 5/5 stars and a 10/10 rating!!

If you liked Form or Twilight Path, you'll probably like this. The story and visuals were neat and the puzzles were relatively simple. Walking could be faster and the English could use some touch ups, but nothing threw me.

Meh. There are a few puzzles and some light "platformer" sections. Decent checkpoint rate. But mostly you just walk or ride along. Bland story is a few (semi-repetitive) text overs on some artifacts. You have no real agency or discovery. Seems like a mobile port? Not up to PC VR levels of gfx, interaction, or length. Smashing artifacts doesn't make sense as a reveal for "secrets" (which are just a few more short cryptic animations?) and seems there just to pad the length and "interactivity".
For better puzzlers/platformers mix: ADR1FT (if you stomach the jump-packing), Robinson: The Journey, The Solus Project.
For better puzzlers: Myst, The Twilight Path
For better platformers: Etherian, Eye of the Temple (if you have the room)

This game is VR supported but it was a bit too much for me in the VR form. Enjoyable as a 3D game.

Puzzles are easy to very difficult (some tricky platforming). You have a jet pack to get around (thus the VR was too disorienting with the movement for me) Very good graphics and the story is ok. Ending a bit of a let down but not enough to really hurt the overall experience of the game.

Fun game; nice graphics; good story with interesting puzzles...puzzles flow well through out the game and are not difficult to solve. I use Vive Pro with Vive wand controllers...no issues. Hit one bug in the middle of the game that would not let me complete the puzzle. Restarted game and puzzle solution worked.
This game is worth 15 dollars.
I played for almost 4 hours but I take my time and like to explore on games like this.

Not many VR games have grabbed my attention from start to finish like Eclipse: Edge of Light has.
With so many VR games out there, quality isn't always there since it's a smaller and more of a niche market.
I had played this game and finished it on another platform (Daydream), and with the Steam version the tech limitations were removed and now the game looks much more beautiful. Definitely worth the double dip.
This isn't the case here. There is so many details in this game it's unbelievable. From Jetpacks, to guided puzzles, but never guided enough to make it easy on you.
The gameplay is around 3 hours long and I really enjoyed it. There is a lot of replay value in this game and I'm going to spend the next weekend and do a second run.
The sound design and visuals are really breathtaking and I really think whoever the developers were on this game really knew what they were doing. It feels like a really polished game and well worth the purchase.
Anyone thinking about getting this, don't even think about it, just get it and enjoy it. You can thank me later.

The game is okay, it was short so I decided to tough it out until the end. I found myself bored in most of the game, the story wasn't that interesting and the puzzles were too easy. I would say it is more of a walking sim. Considering there are PCVR games that have better graphics, story, and game play, I would pass on this one. If you want a game that is actually fun that hooked me, I would recommend the Solus Project, play it in VR. It has some things in common story wise with this game but it finds the right formula where it is fun and interesting.
