The greatest, and only good Turok game. The new Turok is gonna be garbage and any sequels afterwards are garbage. THIS is Turok. Turok 2 is garbage.

My favorite part is when the indian says "I am the Turok" and begins Turoking everybody. Now for real, it is a product of its time with SEVERAL things that are outdated. Originally with no crosshair, unable to change type of ammo at will, lack of sound variety and most importantly; no intuitive secret hiding and collectaton mechanics. If you dont keep your eyes truly open you'll have to repeat a level to pick everything needed to continue your adventure. Which directly translates to walk ALL OVER AGAIN with 0 variety and less enemies which directly translates to... well, literally walk all over again. No fun. Despite that the game has been updated and received an improvements some weeks ago which fixes the ammo selection problem and the crosshair existence. Those are small details, but it is a way of the developers to tell us "we are aware on this stuff despite the years" So yeah.

An awesome port. Works so buttery smooth and visuals look much better. Feels great to play it.

Totally recommend this amazing classic remastered, even more in the bundle special sale, glad to have had the opportunity to play it fully and beat it 100% after so many years, continuing to the rest and hope that eventually even more of Turok is available to play and the franchise stays alive for both story lore and multiplayer gameplay on the rest of the games.

Classic old school game. I used to play this originally on the N64 at launch so it's great to play it again!

Shockingly easy, there were multiple times I had maximum lives - usually I only died because of the platforming sections. The arsenal ranks as a pretty solid B-, it's very "we have Quake 2 at home" despite coming out before Quake 2. The level design is also incredibly bloated, especially in the end game, the last level is easily triple the length of a normal level. It's main strengths are a solid art direction and fun combat in the first two thirds, it's also quite short, clocking in at around 7 or so hours. If you like early 3D shooters this one is a fun time, though it lacks the depth of some of it's contemporaries.

I dunno what it is about this old timeless classic of a FPS, but I found it way better, and always better, then Turok 2 / 3 Might just be the atmosphere for the game I guess. Hope the brand new one coming out plays back to homage this one.

Incredible game, really! Even though I played a lot of it as a kid, I feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface. It features tons of cool weapons that are satisfying to use—my favorites are the shotgun (which is literally a blast), minigun, grenade launcher, and plasma rifle. The game can get really labyrinthic at times, especially in the catacombs, which can be a nightmare. However, most things aren't too hidden; I managed to find all the keys/chronoscepter parts by myself, except for two where I checked online to avoid excessive backtracking, especially since I had already finished the level multiple times and had no idea where they were. The last level feels a bit too long for no apparent reason, filled with a lot of corridors. I honestly don’t understand why they made it so lengthy, but it doesn’t detract from the fun I had while playing. The port is excellent—played it on my Steam Deck, and it was a breeze, consistently running at 90 fps. I give it a 9 out of 10 and strongly recommend it!

Good old turok game. I never managed to play through it in my childhood. Now I've finally managed it and I have to say it's a unique game for its time. I'm already looking forward to the fourth part! It took me a relatively long time to complete the full achievements, a whole 19 hours. But cool game and nice memories!

good port. If the original n64 game's frame rate, fov, and view distance bothered you, this solves it all.
