so confusing about how to get better weapons and armor. horrible game

For everyone out there, who used to play "old" KO is nice to have this game here at Steam. Seeing there is some GM activity is quite refreshing, tho cheating is still part of this game, sadly. Game is lag free for me, so no problem there aswell. Even tho iam giving my "recommend" to this game, there are some huge let-downs. First of all, this game is hardly F2P, its obviously Pay2Win,¨at higher lvls playing without premmy aint making any sense at all. And this leads me to main problem of Steam Knight Online - and thats the prices of premium playing. Currenty you need to pay 40 euro/usd per 30 days, just for get one Exp premium, which is notning less than disgusting. Developers seems to be fine, to offer here more than 15 year old game for this kind of money. Greed take over of Steam KO. Total joke for all the new players i belive, i dont see any reason why would be this game interesting for anyone, who didnt play this game before (without that nostalgia which old players has), not for current prices as it is. Still actuall game lacking on some effective way how to report cheating, going thru the customer support aint really best way how to fight cheaters. But thats smth which can be improved in the furure i belive. tl;dr If you missing old KO, Steam Knigh Online can give you the good old feeling from playing, only problem is - its sickeningly expensive.

I played this as a kid, my first mmo. Lots of hackers and cheaters but it was an adventure i will never forget. I logg in sometimes now and then just to relax when im tired of stress and other shit games.

worst game ever, doesnt even tell you where to go or anything. was walking around hitting every button trying to find the first fucking guy to talk to after kill the worm , no thanks

We are 2 friends who are living in the same house and some reason only 1 of us can play the game BECAUSE AT LEAST ONE OF US HAVE TO BUY PREMIUM TO CONNECT WITH THE SAME ID. Not recommending

Played original release, it has gotten more pay to play than ever, but still free option available, just not viable, still very enjoyable and so far it seems the steamko community is more helpful than original myko or usko was to me. I enjoy its simplicity and them adding quests with rewards only made the game more easier to get into to.

I miss playing this game in the early 2000's. While it seemed like there was much nostalgia to be had, i soon found out that there is essentially no english speaking player base at all. I got two chars to 60 and i dont think i met anyone who spoke any english. Additionally like everyone has said, its heavily p2w, unless you just intend to pve only you wont stand a chance without paying. I wish i could give this a positive review, it was so much fun in the past but i suppose thats exactly where it belongs, in the past.

Knight Online used to be a great game. Graphics are outdated but simple and fast-paced gameplay makes Knight Online enjoyable. Unfortunately, game is unplayeble due "toxic community", pay to win features, tons of bugs and cheaters.

If you've been recommended this game by a friend or just came across it and you're thinking of playing it for the first time in your life: DO NOT DO IT. It's not free to play, it's not noob friendly, it's not friendly at all. To do anything in this game you either have to pay a shit ton of cash or play 24/7.
