Blood Bowl 2 - Wood Elves DLC

This is a bad expansion that made the game worse

Very expensive DLC, frankly a rip off king of DLCs, absolutely unfair deal they force on you. Some dudes out there in Africa could sustain their life on 5$ for a month! Simply don't buy it, it's for elites like me.

i love the wood elves and the lizardmen but i preordered the game so i got them for free i mean they are great fun but not worth £5 £3-4 maybe

Changed the Wardancers to males. I have two doctorates in math, the language of the universe. In the 80's as a grad student I came up with a revolutionary equation. I would write the equation out but the common layman wouldnt understand or appreciate it, so I will instead explain it in terms a child can understand. Sexy lady + Violence + Sports = Radical

Disclosure -> I've played massive amounts of Blood Bowl 1 & 2 and used to have the boxed game. Wood Elves are one of the most imbalanced teams. Unless you're up against Skinks for instance, don't even give Blocking a go. On the plus side, you can still win with only 3-4 players standing based on touchdowns, and half of your team dead of injured. Be aware that they are fragile (apart from the Treeman) before purchasing if you aren't used to the game yet.

The wood elves are one of the best teams in the game. Anyone who plays Blood Bowl has a healthy respect for this team and its a worthy addition to any players team collection. They are the quintessential passing team with the most MV 8 players of any team, allowing them to score fast and often. Add to that the strongest big guy in the game and you have a very formidable team. Note on complaining about the price: The price is what it is and you don't need me to tell you if you can afford it or not.

Pick it up on sale, otherwise a little expensive. The Wood Elves are a great elven team. More fragile than the High Elves, but have simply the best blitzer in the game in the Wardancer. Who's starting stats are what other teams blitzers aspire to! Great team to run around with, bashing teams require a bit of care. Looking great in leggings...

Content ripped out of the game day 1 and, then, sold 7 dollars. A quite dishonest and untolerable behaviour. It's a bit of a theft.

Wood Elves, if you've heard the phrase Elf BS, then you know the Wood Elves embody this. Basic Wood Elf info: AG4 as per usual with elves Best blitzer in the game (begins with Block, Dodge, Leap Is the only Elf team with a big guy Has only AV7 so expect a quite a few armour breaks if you get in range Expensive players mean any death is felt hard

Wood Elves are my favorite team in this game, period. So far I have had the most fun with this team as well as the Chaos Dwarfs in Chaos Edition… But even as I recomend it I will give some feedback that is worth considering before you buy them. Wood Elves is the second fastest team in the game after the Skaven IIRC, it makes your team good at moving the ball for the optimal pass, handoff and rush towards the end goal. They have one of the best if not THE best level one character in the Wedancer and their catchers start with a good amount of skills that is well worth their asking price. They are also the only Elven team that sport a big guy that is also a big guy that is stronger than all other big guys. So… there is some negatives here. All chars bar the tree have armor value 7 thus making them injury prone and there will be times where teams might implode as their high cost and replacing dying or ruined pieces is hard or impossible goal. All the positions are disgustingly expensive as they are good, so getting new of them is a goal for a season rather than an off hand cash spend. The tree have a 50% chance to not stand up if he is knocked over making him slow and sometimes unreliable but he soak damage for the frail Elves and I feel he is worth it long term but he is not NEEDED. If you want an Elven team that is fast, agile, good at stealing the ball and can move the ball from one end of the pitch and toss it to other side with EASE then I would recommend these assholes as they are the gods of Elve’s bullshit. If you want a team that is different to what is offered in the core experience well these are not it. I would recommend Undead, Necromantic. Lizardmen or the Norse to get teams that stand out more to the core races to be honest but if you want what these guys give, then they are just plain FUN. Painfull when losing half the team at times… but fun! Also, if you do not play Wood Elves - A prone Wardancer is in need of his head being kicked in, so remember that and make it happen!
