Excellent game :)

This may be one of the best word finding games ever made. BACON!

It's basically like Bookworm adventure. You play a long word and do defeat the enemies.

It's a great game overall, if you played bookworm adventures it's almost exactly the same. Some differences, time trials and difficult stages are added which I think is a plus. The story is basically nonexistent, you don't play this game for the story. Rather than getting treasures from bosses you get currency for beating any enemy even if you lose on a level, I don't know if it's better or worse. The music doesn't have much variety but it's catchy. You can type with a keyboard, at least for the letters; not sure if you can use the keyboard to consume potions. There aren't many difficult choices for what to buy since what's optimal is obvious so if you're looking for everything to be relevant you picked the wrong game. However, this is generally meant to be a fairly laid back easy game aside from time trials and those can get easier later when you get the right book. There are some problems about a third of the way into the game and lesser problems before that. The lesser problems are some enemies will transform your tiles to a single letter which usually is terrible, but it could be worse. The worse thing is certain enemies take no damage aside from specific circumstances like a word starting with a vowel or because they're vulnerable to the letter Q the devs felt justified in giving it high damage and health. This means unlike Bookworm Adventures you are required to shuffle sometimes or have very little choice which just feels like bad design. Remember that new gimmicks to a game doesn't always make it better.

As others have said, this is very similar to Bookworm Adventures. Simple but still a lot of fun, especially when enemies start throwing various effects at you later on. EDIT: That said, it *reaaaaally* needs a better dictionary.

I'm eternally aggravated that they didn't bother adding a decent dictionary. The available plays and the available English words do not overlap. I understand if you make a family friendly game you don't want profanity, but if I manage to spell "deoxygenated" I want some goddamn credit for it.
