As the title suggests, it has now become a classic. I think the first thing I fell in love with were the graphics. Pixelated art at its finest. The water, in particular, is just amazing. I loved that your character could be any gender/sex and any race. of course, now that it's 2025, the capitalistic approach seems a bit... meh. But for its time, this game was GOLD, all puns intended. I still haven't found all that there is in the game.

A fun, easy-to-learn, hard-to-master side-scroller. Genuinely enjoyable, if quite small. If you enjoy this game, play Kingdom: Two Crowns and Kingdom: New Lands, the sequels to the Classic version. I've spent over 100 hours between the three games (across multiple platforms) and find it so easy to jump back in after a break for a few hours of kingdom-building fun. Get this game, it's worth it!

There is no menu screen and the game doesn't tell you anything past the first 2 minutes. Nothing happened and I got bored after a while. There was less happening in the game than my Wallpaper Engine desktop. 1/10

This is a very chill game, that has you use your brain - or read a guide if you're dumb like me. I like this game which is called Kingdom. It’s a fair game, nice and pleasant . The music is good, even excellent. You see, in Kingdom you let your men build you things with coin. And hunters shoot rabbit and deer and the farmers till the land and give you coin, which is tax. I suppose. And you're the King( or Queen) of the land. But then it gets destroyed, and you feel like shit. And the music which is great makes you feel ill in an emotional sort of way.

What can I say... I'm a simple man, I like running through the woods whimsically during the day. And during the night, I am FURIOUSLY begging my horse to keep running away from those little dudes tryna steal my crown. Making a little farm, getting mad that all my farmers are picking up hammers instead. It's a fun, quick game that is easy to fail and easy to win. Just have fun with it
