Tangle Tower Reviews

I didn't know anything about this game, but it was on sale and it had a demo so I tried it. I liked the demo so I bought both Tangle Tower and Detective Grimoire (the first game). They were both good but I enjoyed Tangle Tower more than Detective Grimoire, and it was much longer. Now I'm looking forward to The Mermaid Mask.

This was such a fun and cozy game! I usually don't like this kind of art style as the use of colors can make me feel uneasy, but this was GORGEOUS! I absolutely fell in love with the style and even went through the art book after finishing the game. I absolutely loved all the characters. They were so well made, were believable, and the voice acting was spot on. This is quite subjective, but the game was also longer than I initially thought. I'm really happy about that! I highly recommend this game!

I absolutely loved this game! I played the first game (Detective grimoire) a while back and liked it, so I wanted to try this out to. This game was so much fun that I could not stop playing it... it is currently almost 4 am. Anyways, I think the characters were very well designed and very interesting! I loved Sally (def my fave character from the first game) as a sidekick and I especially liked that she actually had things to say. The animations are very well done! I loved the design of the characters, locations and clues. I also really enjoyed the story and the gameplay. It is easy enough to not be stuck on everything, but still a fun challenge! I would 100% recommend if you like detective games, especially for this price :)

Good, but maybe not great. The ending wasn't my favorite, and I still have some lingering questions, but the puzzles and art were well done. Worth the sale price.

played it for the third time after playing twice on mobile. this game is a masterpiece. one of my favorites, it's another short and sweet journey. the voice acting, art, and animation is also so stylish. overall, an absolutely amazing game. will be buying the sequel.

If you like a surprise ending, you'll like this game. I really was not expecting the game to end with so many unanswered questions. Negative review since it felt more like a story driven visual novel instead of a detective puzzle game.

Great story, reasonably challenging puzzles, wonderful art, fully voiced dialogue, and intriguing worldbuilding. (also I played for fewer hours than it says, I just didn't ever close out of it)

Amazing art, amazing sound design, and amazing gameplay loop and flow. Plenty of humor, coziness, fun chats, and charm. Some of the truly high quality of the point and click mystery genre.

ITS SUCH A GOOD GAME. i would really recommend this game if you like puzzles, escape rooms and cozy games. its so so nice. the puzzles are a medium to easy, the plot is really interesting and nice, i loved how each character had their own story. the art work is just insane, so so good. i would love to keep playing more games like this one.

a good time! i'm glad the devs took the time to make sure every possible item and clue had unique voice lines for every person. the game could be solved a lot quicker, but i decided i needed to get every person's input on every item and person possible.
