This game is really cool. The music is nice too. This game makes fun only with many people and friends and it`s really interesting. The fist is funny. It`s a one hit weapon XD. Guys, keep up the good work. Thx for creating this great Game. :D >Dear nice and cool developers. I would like to know what is the name of your video edeting program which you have used to create the Codename Cure Trailer? Just searching a good video edeting tool and your effects in the video are nice :D

In the reviews, I've seen a lot of people complaining about the difficulty. Basically, why? If you're too pussy to play the game find a server on casual or create your own. This brings me to the bots. Aimbot. Seriously, their reaction are to shoot any zombies that come in their view! I'll be honest, even though the really helped me get the insane achievements, please nerf them. Now for the things I don't really like, the pistols in survival on insane difficulty (even for insane) are waaaaaayyyyyyyyyy underpowered, please buff. And also, for some reason (and I don't know if this is intentional) I can't create a server using the maps flatline or trainstation. If anyone knows anything about that, please tell me. The one final thing is... This game is for poor people. If you have money get L4D2 or something. But as a person with no money, this is just the game for me. So if you are like me, get the game, its small but that's because it's early access. I hope my review is helpful.

Early access, and it's already pretty good. Sure, it's admittedly a little rough and unpolished, but I can tell that this game has some potential for the finished version. Keep up the good work, devs! Would love to see some weapon customization, via attachments (if possible) or changing what weapons you use with each class instead of being restricted to a standard IMI Galil and CZ75 or M4 Benelli and dual pistols. Though that might have to held a little further down the road for now.

This is a great concept for a game as the teamwork element is excellent, because without certain classes its more difficult to fight in certain situations. However, the zombie spawn system needs serious fixing because its annoying when you're seeing no zombies, do a 360 spin and then there are suddenly 5-10 zombies raping you to death. Secondly, all the guns need to do more damage as I find myself using almost an entire magazine on only 2-4 zombies, yet a single melee takes out any shambling or running zombies with ease. In spite of all this, it's still a decent game and seeing its in early access stages these issues should be fixed with time, making the game even better.

Overall in retrospect, the concept of a Zombie survival shooter game is not new anymore, it's virtually impossible to present anything original in base concept in the genre, and even harder on the Source Engine, where there is already a zombie mode in virtually every source game as well as not 1 but 4 free to play games. For fair comparison, let's compare them. Brainbread 2 (beta) Codename CURE (Beta) No More Room in Hell (beta) Zombie Panic! Source Keep that in mind, Codename CURE is one of FOUR free to play source engine games revolving around one simple concept: Survive against hordes of zombies. In no shape or form does Codename CURE compare to it's competition. The population is already worse than what you'll find in 2 of the 4 in that small list, with the only game worse than CURE being Brainbread 2. The only reason that brainbread 2 is worse than CURE is because CURE actually functions with relative difficulty to it, it's very hard to win if you don't know how to use your guns. However when it comes to difficulty it's repetitive and boring, there are limited maps and even more limited servers because of how few people still play. The gameplay is repetitive and unimagineative, essentially the old school "zombie escape" game modes we used to play as kids as far back as Counter Strike 1.6. In comparison, Zombie Panic! Source and No More Room in Hell have a far more active player base and as a whole are a better game, with more development from the community as well as the game devs. Features are tweaked and added, and the community has offered a wealth of custom content ranging from textures to maps and even new game modes. My summary is that Codename CURE is neither original nor provides enough content to make it refreshing or worthwhile to spend time one when in comparison there are free to play Zombie Source shooters with an exponentially larger amount of content and replayability. Not recommended. Play NMRiH, Zombie Panic! Or save your money and get l4d2, CS:S, CS:GO, Garry's Mod, etc if you're really wanting a lasting, entertaining experience.

If I had to give this game an award I'd know exactly which one it would be. It'd be the "Game that could be made as GMod server and be better" award. It constantly makes you think "Hey, I could be playing Left 4 Dead right now", which will make you play it. It's too slow paced to be fun, every musical cue is the same theme slightly remixed which gets annoying fast. The maps look like some "Hammer starter pack" The objective is always the same. There's no real sense of fear or stress in any way since the zombies are no threat, the fast ones can be taken out in one melee swing, the slow "heavy" ones in two, but are too slow to reach you anyways. Also, all the NPCs are rather easy to trick, as they can't jump. Overall, I really don't understand why this game is so highly recommended, I can't recommend it.

This is a really fun game. Although a bit barebones in it's current state, it's early access, so i can get over it. Join a random server, kill zombies, have fun. That's what i love about it. It's even better with friends, as it can get a bit goofy. But overrall, i love this game, and would recomend it to anyone.

Very fun game. Codename CURE provides a free to play, singleplayer and multiplayer service. The graphics are fantastic (if sometimes a little glitchy) and the gameplay is fun. Whether you choose bomb placing or just simple survival, you can be almost guarenteed a fast-pased, well polished round. Well done! PS: can you beat wave 10 on survival?

I downloaded this game when this was still in its early stages. Since then, the game and its player base has grown massively. Kudos to the devs for keeping this game alive and wish them luck for the future.
please add a bhopping aspect to this game

THIS IS A BASIC REVIEW FOR CODENAME CURE DESCRIBING MY EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL GAMEPLAY, PROS AND CONS ARE SUBJECT TO THE PLAYER'S EXPERIENCE.
---------------------------------------------------- Codename CURE is a zombie-survival mod designed on the Source Engine, developed a while ago but released on Steam later in it's life. It's still in early-access despite it's 2015 release, but has no micro-transactions of any kind and the game is free so it's safe to assume the developers are running out of pocket, so it's understandable. My experience with CodenameCURE was enjoyable, to put it simply: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -Codename CURE plays similiarly to games like Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor, and No more room in Hell. The controls and mechanics are tight so it's not like you're going to be bitching about how bullshit it is to try and punch zombies. -The game itself is fun in it's simplistic right, which is more or less an aquired taste in games. -The game's mechanics are simple, but still take a little time to understand which offers challenge to people who are interested in playing for more than 3 or 4 hours, and applying said mechanics offers a satisfying result when executed right. -The classes available are not super unique, but aren't exactly generic. Classes are applied differently and offer benefits to teams depending on which class you play, some more than the rest. -There is another game mode which is simply survival, although it gets mixed up with the challenge of starting out with just a pistol, having to work your way through hordes of zombies just to get a better pistol or sometimes a REAL gun. -It's also a fun game to play with friends, especially if you're all new to it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now there's without a doubt flaws in this game, but these flaws can affect the experience for just about anybody willing to play. This doesn't exactly make this game bad, but it does hinder what progress it can have into getting the spotlight, having a larger playerbase, and becoming a much more unique experience overall. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Codename CURE unfortunately falls below the standards of zombie survival games due the depravation of content. There are few maps and game modes to choose from and gameplay itself is linear. You start, run and gun, complete objective, run and gun, complete objective, run and gun some more, and then get the hell out of there. Now maps can vary on what type objective there is, but it still is very linear. -The community is small, like really small. It's hard to find players since there isn't a direct match making mode available and it's a gamble when finding people. They can be griefers or complete idiots, some people being eliteists. It's best played with friends. -Difficulty spikes are common and can prove to much of a challenge to new players. One moment you can be fine, running and gunning with you team and the next you can be cut off by a horde of zombies ready to run a train on you, so unless you're playing Frontman or Assault you're not getting out alive. It also doesn't help when zombie spawns are so close and normally come from all your blindsides, forcing you to memorize spawns through the map so you don't get caught and mutilated. -The mechanics in Codename CURE are simple which can be beneficial to players and the game itself, but there are few challenging mechanics to become adept in and once you do it becomes lather and rinse rather than being dynamic mechanics that are fun to use. Not to mention they can be abused. For example, players can block off hordes using support creates and protect sentries using support crates, which defeats the purpose of sentries being a line of defense that needs to be used sparingly due to the damage they can take. -Variation in the enemies of the game are pretty much a snooze fest. You have two zombies, regular fast ones that are designed to swing fast, slow you down, and die quick. Then there are the Military zombies, beefed up zombies that have resistances to melee and bullets along with being able to kill you in 3-4 hits (or take out all the armor you have) but move at the pace of slugs on crack. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I reccomend Codename CURE for a little playthrough, but it's your choice to keep playing since I'm going to outright say this game needs a lot of work done before it can be an experience to something like No More Room in Hell or Left 4 Dead.
