Only as a bundle with game. Not on it's own.

BEAUTIFUL soundtrack! It literally sounds & feels like you're playing the game again, if not that, inside the game itself through a more intimate point of view. LOVE IT!

Well... I guess you can play this soundtrack when you meditate or do yoga. Trying hard to be optimistic here.

Much spookier than expected... The soundtracks don't work very well for casual listening, mostly because of some effects included like footsteps, gasping, weird voices and bear roars. That being said, it felt quite immersive for laying down with eyes closed. It'll take you on a new journey, especially on Halloween. The insight tracks are more upbeat lol Steam library doesn't seem to pick up this set of soundtracks. The files are located in the game's folder and can be played easily with any music player on your PC and it comes with an album cover art. I'd give these soundtracks a neutral rating if it was an option. It's not bad, but probably won't listen to them more than once...

I expected background music used throughout the game, This sounds more like someone recorded the sound from the game while playing. You can hear footsteps in the snow, paddling in the water, grunts, wails, talking, fireball throwing, etc. Not what my idea of a soundtrack is. After hearing that, I half expected the cultural insights music to also include the interviews, but it wasn't the case. So you get the soundtrack from trailers and cultural insight videos, but from the actual game you get the full game audio with sfx included. Very weird choice, sounds like releasing an OST was an afterthought and they simply dumped their audio assets and called it a day.

This could be a lovely ambient soundtrack to listen to for relaxation, sleep, study, painting or drawing or some such, were it not for the inclusion of sound effects from the game which, personally, I find jarring - especially Nuna's dramatic 'gasp and wail' which, if you've played the game, you'll likely have already heard plenty of times and probably got pretty fed up with! I received the soundtrack in a bundle including the game and DLC whilst on sale, so it feels more like a nice little bonus item than something I've intentionally purchased, but after a few listens though I don't think I'll keep it on my MP3 player and PC. The soundtrack operates well within the game itself and has some beautiful serene moments, but it's a real bugbear or mine when composers decide to include a bunch of sound effects, dialog etc. in the soundtrack as well. I'll play the game if I want to hear all the other stuff alongside it - but for a soundtrack, I just want to enjoy the darn music!

Pretty solid soundtrack. Worth noting that it does have game sounds in the tracks, so if you like the occasional ice cracking noise or polar bear roar you're in for a treat.
