This music is one of the major reasons why I don't mind dying in Shovel Knight. I love it. :)
Really glad this soundtrack is available to buy, because too many games don't do that, and people that love it would have to pirate it, but this makes it SO easy, AND the developer gets paid for it. If you don't know if you want to buy it, just listen to some of it on youtube and then come back here and buy it, because there is no way you'll be able to resist!
The only issue I can see with it is that the dlc variants of the music (Plague Knight and Spectre Knight so far) aren't included as far as I can tell. :( I can't find those in the OST file, and would love it if there were on there. I do feel like this might be a genuine mistake on the developers part, as everything else I know about this game (including the FREE dlc that just makes the game more awesome) says to me that they'd also make those OSTs included, but might not have remembered. I'll try to remember to correct this if this changes, but it still doesn't make me regret buying this. I'd buy it again if it'd include those other OSTs.

Excellent game, I love everything about it, the only negative thing I have about it are the controls for the Showdown mode because I play alone and is quite annoying having to change controls between main menu and game menu.

If you should ever buy a games soundtrack, it's this one. Roughly 90% of these tracks are like cocaine for your ears. They are seriously that good, props to Jake and Manami for knocking this shit straight out of the ballpark and have it continuing to soar into the sky until it begins orbiting Earth itself.

The soundtrack itself is amazing, but this is a surprisingly poor release. Only ~128Kbps MP3s, wildly inconsistent volume leveling, and many tracks have noticeable "glitches" at the start, like the emulated sound chip wasn't initialized properly. The releases on Jake Kaufman's Bandcamp have none of these issues, are available in FLAC, are pay-what-you-want, and more of your money goes to the creator. Give this version a pass.

great soundtrack, but thanks to a steam bug nearly the entire plague of shadows soundtrack is mislabeled. track 13 is in track 1's spot, and tracks 2 - 13 are offset by one because of this, without their names updating (e.g. "the alchemist's haven" is actually prime your potions). fortunately this is only a bug in the steam player, the actual files and song metadata are correct and will be named correctly in other media players.

This soundtrack is both great, and has a great price. I especially love how they have gone back and made the addon soundtracks available in this purchase of the original soundtrack, comparable to how they went back and made free addons to the main game. The video game industry would be so much better off if everyone took note of how Yacht Clubs does things.

I've enjoyed some of these albums for years without paying a cent, thanks to their "name your price" model on Bandcamp. With the release of King of Cards and Showdown, I thought it was about time to finally give back, especially considering I first purchased Shovel Knight at its original $14.99 price all those years ago and received its continued updates at no additional cost.
Jake Kaufman, Manami Matsumae, and everyone at Yacht Club Games have put together something really special, and I'll gladly continue to support them in this small way.
Of note is that [url=https://virt.bandcamp.com/album/strike-the-earth-shovel-knight-arranged]Strike the Earth! Shovel Knight Arranged[/url] is unfortunately not included in this package, and so I strongly urge everyone to check it out.

First of all, it’s the wonderful soundtrack for the wonderful game, BUT if you wanted to enlarge your music collection that version is not good option. Unfortunately, all soundtracks don’t have lossless format (and there is no info about this on the store page) despite the fact that FLAC version can be purchase on Bandcamp site - all tracks are VBR mp3 about 135kbps. And for some reason this bundle doesn't included «Strike the Earth! Shovel Knight Arranged» album. It’s sad that, having released a complete edition of the game, cheated on the release of collection of soundtracks.
