London is falling. Are you prepared? The Last Blight is upon us. It was foretold. For the second time in history, a great plague has shrouded London in a fog of death. Big Ben tolls as thousands of unprepared die, or worse, are infected by a sickness more gruesome than death.

Was gonna say how the game was too easy but then I realized it was meant to be played with a Wii instead of pc.

This is a great survival horror experience. I can personally recommend it. However, I have a few complaints. AUDIO Firstly I had a lot of issues audio wise. Zombies have no audible footsteps and they don't always make any noise. There were plenty of times when a zombie randomly popped up right in front of me with no warning whatsoever. As you can imagine this is quite an issue. Not knowing if there is one, where it is, and how far away is detrimental to a game that is supposed to be survival horror. The audio issues are not limited to the zombies. Gunshots most often than not make no noise. Neither does reloading. Explosions are also completely silent. In addition to all of this I think the balancing of the audio was off and there was a lack of ambient noise. GUNS - WHY? This game gives you plenty of guns (which is great because who doesn't like guns?) but I don't really see the point in giving the player more than three. You get way more than that. Additionally I feel that the guns in this game don't really matter much. With a careful playstyle and good movement you could with relative ease finish this game without guns (I haven't tried mind you) but I can't say they were imperative for finishing the game. STORAGE SPACE This might be because of my meticulous and careful playstyle but I think you are given way too little storage space. It was quite the pain to constantly drop items and exchange them from the storage unit to the inventory. You cannot store the base items like the starter handgun or bat either so they permanently take up some inventory space. All of this is slightly alleviated by finding bigger BOBs but because you find more guns as the game progresses it sort of cancels each other out. CRASHES A total of fourteen hours resulted in two known crashes - once when I fast-travelled to a location and once when I left the game on pause for about twenty minutes or more. In the first case the game simply closed instantaneously whereas in the second it hardlocked in the pause menu. Fortunately the game has plenty of safehouses so neither of these crashes were more than a slight nuisance. Despite all my complaints it was still a wonderful game and I enjoyed it. For the price you get a decent amount of game for the money but I believe these issues (mainly the audio) should be fixed before I could declare the current price (about $20?) to be fair.

If you like horror games, you might like Zombi, and if you like a little scare this is a game for you. And be warn. This game is not for everyone and it has some difficult sections, and have to be conservative. Hope you in joy the game nonetheless :D

the PC version is the worst port of zombi, the hook of the game which is the permadeath is nonexistent. You will respawn with the same character model with different name. Unless you play in hardcore. Sometimes a zombie can catch in a cutscene and kill your character without possibility you can do something, unfair.

i remember youtubers playing this when it was originally released on the wii u and back then i was very scared of it and now at the age of 25 i am still scared of it. it's basically the only zombie game that actually gives me chills. don't get me wrong there are actual scary zombie games that are not zombiu, dying light is another one that scares me but not all the time and i'm sure many have their own personal ones but zombiu who feels different in so many ways. in a strange way it feels real and the environments and atmosphere are the best parts of the game in my opinion. the combat is just basic but it feels real and theres a higher sense of fear because you can get pinned down by zombies pretty easily, however it's also mix of anger and annoyance because if you play on normal difficulty you play as someone new every time you die and then you gotta go to where you died to get all your shit back, it's just a pain in the ass to deal with. i remember some people joked about how basic the combat is that some people said that zombiu was just the UK version of dead island. and to be honest i can see where their coming from. there are some good solid characters like the prepper since he's a nice guy mostly and he just wants to help people survive. and the doctor that is in his labs since he's looking for a cure and all, and also the woman who helps you escape in the end, she's a good character as well. i wish they made a real main character with their own story and motivations instead of playing as random people each time you respawn. All and all i give zombiu a big thumbs up despite it's problems. it really does scare me and it feels real, and stuff like that just isn't in zombie games anymore.

I've seen that a lot of negative reviews of this game are due to technical issues, and that's completely valid, but such a shame. So get this and install it before you start playing to fix all of the major issues. https://github.com/DErDYAST1R/Zombi-u-patch (I used the patch without Reshade, so 1.0. I think it looks better naturally.) This is the only game I was truly terrified of when I was little, and so it felt amazing to beat on permadeath. Zombi is just genuinely such a great horror game, with some jank and odd parts for sure. I understand the story, but it overall wasn't the main focus. The guns are also kinda cursed, but I do love that you're really incentivized to use them instead of hoarding ammo. Don't do that if you play this game so you can level skills with weapons. The atmosphere and the stress you will feel playing this game are genuinely so hard to come by nowadays. It's really worth a shot if you love horror games.

The game has a major issue: most of the sounds don't work. There's no fix for this on PCGamingWiki, and you have to rely on other people online to provide files from earlier versions of the game. That said, this is one of the very few zombie survival games I'd actually call good. It manages to maintain a bleak atmosphere throughout the entire story. Each location feels unique and memorable, and I appreciated the little details – like how the main character reacts to the environment. Zombies can drag you out of holes and ventilation shafts; they can even pull you up or down ladders. If they manage to bite you, it’s game over – you'll respawn as a different character. Details like these make the game feel immersive – and honestly, I think they’re really cool. I wouldn't call Zombi a difficult game. I never died during my first playthrough, so I didn’t get to experience the character-switching mechanic. This is probably because I’ve played No More Room in Hell a lot, which has a similar but much more challenging zombie management system. In that game, the number of zombies is overwhelming, while in Zombi, even so-called "hordes" can often be handled with just a cricket bat. At one point in the story, the game tries to convince you to rush, but there are no real consequences for taking your time. In fact, it's better to fight and loot zombies, as you’ll get more items. I expected inventory management to play a big role, but I found that I only really needed one medkit, a few guns, and some ammo for each mission. Mission items and upgrades have their own inventory slots, so they don't get in the way. Ammo can be scarce at times, but if you conserve it, you’ll end up with plenty of pistol rounds and a small amount of other ammo types. SMG ammo is especially rare, which is frustrating considering how quickly those guns burn through it. The ending doesn’t explain or resolve much. That would be fine if a sequel were on the horizon – but it’s not. Still, the overall experience is pretty fun. I finished the game on standard mode without dying, but in survival (permadeath) mode, I died from stupid things – like stepping on a landmine or getting overconfident and cornering myself in. It’s a shame we’re not likely to see more of this series, because Zombi is a genuinely enjoyable game.

Waited 10 years to play this, and I'm not even able to launch it. Keep your money or request a refund if it's still available and buy a different game.
