Very bad graphics issue with screen tears and constant flashing glitches that appear after about 20min into the game that make it borderline unplayable. Saw there was a community fix posted that said to go into the game's file and disable v-sync, but no: screw Ubisoft, they need to fix it.

Stupid game. Now I know why Anakin hates sand. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is not Prince of Persia enough, and is not Forgotten enough. Playing this game makes me feel like I'm in some Fallout vault experiment. It makes me feel like I'm going through some kind of secret men in black psychological test to see how much mental stress and pressure I can take before I break, or how much boredom and stupid shit can kill a person. This would be a great torture device in World War 3. I feel sorry for the poor soul who will be unfortunate enough to be met with this game alone in a dark room, no secret will remain hidden as long as this piece of shit is not Forgotten. I do not recommend it to anyone. Do not try it at home! Not alone! Not with your parents! Not with anyone!

**Forgotten Sands? More Like Forgotten Game** This game strays far from what a classic Prince of Persia should be. Ubisoft made it an arcadey, family-friendly experience, stripping away core mechanics that defined the series. No rolling over enemies, no tossing them, just a simplified combat system for newbies. The water-solidifying ability was interesting at first but quickly became repetitive, especially during the *Final Climb* mission. The story is weak, just filler content. Fans might play it to see what happens after *Sands of Time*, but honestly, skipping it wouldn’t make much difference. Compared to the original trilogy, this game is a disappointment. Ubisoft really dropped the ball on this one. On top of that, it *requires* a Ubisoft account and launcher, which is just unnecessary. I’m giving it a positive review, but I still *don’t* recommend it.

Needs ubisoft connect account and an active internet connection. Totally forgettable story, a lot of annoying acrobatics where you just have to perfectly time all you acrobatics with shift and alt presses. Even without any of these additional mechanics there are quite a lot of moments when you jump 0.5s late and fall, roll back the time and jump 0.5s too early and don't make it far enough. Not to mention that half of the time it's not exactly easy to see where exactly the waterfalls, water columns and pins are located. Battle system is unengaging, there's no combos, no different attacks, no fun finishers or pretty much anything that I could call fun. Boss fights are all monotonous and lack mechanics. Just stand near the enemy, cut their feet and dodge their attacks. Rinse and repeat. Getting to the final boss through the unnecessary acrobatics with zero visibility was not cool – it's a storm, I get it but it's an effing videogame, you could be a little less "realistic" with the sandstorm effects.

The game is nice. Graphics are improved. Controls are also easy. There are not so many combos to perform with single handed sword. New features like using fire, wind, ice and earth powers is something different. In old POP games , there are only time controlling abilities.

Quite different from the original trilogy games but a good experience. The new parkour mechanics are 10/10 but the boss battles got quite repetitive. Overall 7/10

Truly a cinematic platformer. Takes me back to the good old days. Idk why u need an active internet for a game which is dead and doesnt support live service, just ubipoop things.

The Prince of Persia games are in desperate need of a God of War style makeover, a pity Ubisoft still isn't doing a whole lot with the franchise.

If i had to rank each PoP game- 1. Warrior Within 2. Forgotten Sands 3. Two Thrones 4. Sands of Time Gameplay and parkour wise, best out of all. My childhood game, i will always cherish it.
