- Knowledge based Metroidvania, you are doing a lot of fetch quests while collecting and juggling items.
Progression is purely based on where the next Item is you need to collect to unlock the next ability.
~ Bossfights are fine, visually nice but mechanically nothing exceptional.
- Losing Levels on Deaths incentivize grinding when close to next level, while they are making deaths more impactful, it feels more like a time waster.
+ Art Style and Music are old school pixel style. It works, to me it looks and sounds good.
+ Characters and Story are cute, especially Ramona with hair ;)
I would recommend playing with a guide, unless you prefer this kind of non-directional puzzle metroidvania style of game.
