The building system is so TRASH. You're stuck with a very limited selection of bricks, and even painting is basically impossible—you can’t paint individual bricks, only big grouped areas.
Placing doors or windows is a nightmare too. Half the time they randomly break even when they’re not colliding with anything. And there's no scaling tool at all—so if you want to build anything large like a mansion or a city, you're either stuck using the pre-made "brick house" pieces or Japanese wall sets or you're manually placing every single brick one by one. Its not even skill issue, its the poorly game design

peak nostalgia, I remeber watching DanTDM playing this game and NEEDING to play it, i was like 11, i downloaded it and had NO clue what i was doing but even though i was just wandering around like a headless chicken i still had an endless blast playing it. This game is CRIMINALLY underated and if you're looking for a gift for any younger cousins or siblings or whatever, THIS IS IT!! it is so creative and gives you so much for so little

Early access was cool because you could actually explore infinite lego terrain, but now the wolds are too small and gate kept by dlc purchases. This game had so much potential.
