I like it! I haven't gotten far in feat mode and still have 2 characters to unlock, but I've been enjoying it. It's exactly as it looks on the tin. If you're expecting something more complicated, this probably isn't your game (play the demo and you will get at least a decent idea of the vibe of the rest of the game, it stays quite consistent). But if you are into this type of game at its core, I think you will like it. It's both really easy and really hard at the same time. Really depends on how lucky you are with relics. In terms of referring to other games, it's like if you took Slay the Spire and made it into a basic turn-based tactics game with some dice thrown in to make it more interesting. A fun idea! There are only one or two tracks in the soundtrack so it gets somewhat stale, but I like the overall sound affects/design. They are satisfying enough. The aesthetics are nice. The character models are very charming. I am also partial to the chromatic aberration in the backgrounds, but that might not be a positive for everyone. I may update this review as I get further into the feat mode / unlock the remaining characters. I recommend it on sale, for sure! I'd say only go full price if you REALLY like the demo. Still worth a look for sure!!!

Game of the Year 2024 - you heard it here first! Love the artstyle and music. I sometimes get the feeling other games chose retro style graphics because realistic graphics is too hard, but this game avoids the trap, very aesthetically pleasing. Tactics is brilliant, there are meaningful choices, not always use the same sequence. Unlike most other games, it's super random, one turn you might end up with only movement actions unable to attack, so you need to adapt your strategy to survive. I really hope this game gets the traction it deserves.

The game gives simply rogue-like experience, but the battles are quite fun and a bit stressful at the same time. It offers an interesting concept by combining tactical elements, where I can control the outcome of battles, with a luck-based aspect determined by dice rolls that I can't control. Difficulty is quiet hard to get through so far. But can get bonuses when the journey ends as other rogue-lites.
