Combat feels tight and satisfying. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s good and keeps you engaged after a few hours. Need more enemy types.

Boss fights are challenging, but not unfair. Took me a few tries to learn the patterns.

Almost beat the game on my second run. The upgrades from meta progression are just boring, new NPC's seem exciting but they just give rewards to give to other NPC's to then get back to bad stat meta progression instead of actual content. Most if not all of the combat mechanics are completely stolen from ember knight, from the weapon classes and the way they attack to the spells and spellcasting system and relic system. Combat is FAR from balanced, archer's spam attack for instance is just superior to charging in literally all circumstances as you have more freedom to move, it does about 3/4 of a perfect shot's damage and you leave more marks to use your ability on. Anything not crit or auto attack related just isn't worth it at all, as auto attacks are 90% of all upgrades and of your damage. The room augment system is interesting and the artstyle (albeit VERY VERY similiar to wizard of legend 2) is very nice. Overal, its a copy of many games to the point where it's almost shamelessly so (even the upgrade tree (well) is the exact same as ember knight albeit a lot less interesting) with a single interesting/new mechanic. You also have way too little user friendliness (no way to disable auto target, have to buy well coins from an NPC to then use them instead of directly buying/upgrading it at the well itself) Do not recommend it in it's current state.

You can feel the potential here. With some polish and more content, it could stand out even more.

Game is very short and has little replay value. It is a decent game, but like so often nowadays it feels unfinished or lacking content at the very least. The passive/ skill tree from the screenshots on the shop page is apparently not in the game in that from. It is just a dumbed down version with little choice.

Runs are quick and to the point, which makes it easy to hop in and play. Great for short sessions, but the ingame economy feels a bit off rewards from quests are too low, and shop prices are steep.

Fun game. The loop idea, and how the arena plays out is awesome, animations are impact full, feels food to play. People seem to think nowadays that to compete with the other "amazing games" in the genre, you need to innovate. I disagree, you just need to do the basics very well, the rest will follow. This one does the basics well.

1) Game could be good if not so insanely forced grind. 2) I managed to get to last difficulty pretty quick. When i tried to clear it amount of monsters per wave and thier HP is so fat, that it becomes annoying very fast. So without grinding to get powerups it takes forever to clear=boring, dont get me wrong its not difficult. Avoid damage running around the room is just fine, but the fact that monsters regenerate health and you dont get all the upgrades, killing them really takes forever:) I wonder who came up with idea of regenerating monsters-_- In this kind of games dynamic is the most important thing, and you guys just killing it by forcecully prolonging fights. 3) I cleared Hell, it took me more then an hour cause of reasons above, my upgrades at base are basically non-existent. 4) steam achivements are bad too :D Like, i cleared the game but now i need to farm 50000 gold for achivement, it suck. Other aspects are pretty decent, music and visual are nice:)

I love the combination of arpg and roguelite and I'm always looking for interesting progression systems, so when I saw the trailers for the game I was intrigued. A talent tree with a segmented spinning wheel is a really cool idea, and I wanted to see it. Bought the game and found out, with great disappointment, that the spinning wheel has been removed completely and replaced with the blandest form of progression; add a point to a completely linear tree for tiny upgrades ("add three more points to unlock the next row of two boring talents to choose from") - a change the devs seem proud of in the patch notes. Turns out that all of the meta progression is like that. You get a currency, get a tiny linear upgrade. You can choose which special ability your character has, but it's not a particularly important choice since they don't change how your character plays at all. I read the discussion boards and realized from the devs' replies just how little they understand of the feedback they were getting, replying with zero understanding of the suggestions to make the game better. The gameplay itself isn't bad. The combat is paced somewhat slowly, but not too bad. The spells/skills are cool but you rarely get to use them and you end up using your basic attack for the vast majority of the game. Basically, the only relevant choice you make before going into a new run is which basic attack you like the most. The idea of having rooms you alternate between is interesting but the way it has been implemented doesn't really add anything and isn't different from having a single room with increasing difficulty. The amount of content is incredibly short before you do exactly the same thing but at a higher difficulty. Imagine Diablo 2, but you finish each difficulty roughly a third through the first act. It's not a BAD game, but it gets boring very, very quickly. It feels like the entire game as it is right now, is just a demo for the real thing. I'll keep an eye on this game and maybe, with some luck, it will eventually be a full game.
