The Game has a lot of meta story in it, which I normally like a lot in games like Stanley Parable or Pony Island, but here it didn't clicked with me and I found the story parts to be rather weak.
Nonetheless I liked the beginning and the ideas in it regarding game development, how to change the world and so on. I also think that the artstyle is creative and it was fun to discover the world in the beginning.
But I didn't enjoyed the puzzel and the "metroidvania" aspect on how to access new chapters and play the game. Also some functions were pretty confusing and the rather short introduction into the mechanics and the missing chances to test them, made it unnecessarily difficult to get into it.
I will recommend it, because the idea is really good and it was interesting for a few hours, but don't set your expectation too high.
