Randal's Monday Reviews
A kleptomaniac, a sociopath and a horrible friend. Randal is potentially one of the most scurrile protagonists since the invention of the hoverboard. Randal's Monday is a crazy space-time odyssey in classic adventure design, spiced up with countless geek culture references of the last 30 years.

The game has a lot of references like ghostbusters, back to the future and ground hogs day, in fact it has far more references than jokes, and most of the attempts at humor don't work. From the whole game I only remember one thing which I found funny. In concept there is a lot of room to have fun with the idea of resetting days and the idea of the universe shifting to match your changes, but it doesn't manifest. Adventure games live and die on humor and story and this one doesn't have it. None of the puzzles feel particularly clever and there are several which just feel stupid. Its not particularly bad, but it not worth the time to play, much less actually buying it.
