It's kind of a bizarre Chinese mythology game where you're fighting a dragon and a golem but also dinosaurs, and robots with laser guns, and a mecha bear. Like they bought whatever NPC model was available. I like it precisely because of how weird it is.
Pros: It's got great graphics and it feels good trekking through mountains smacking robots with my staff. Very satisfying that they do somersaults when you smack them.
Cons: The controls are a little clunky, like I got used to walking but I'm still not sure how to use my powers. I just smash random buttons and boom I'm a flying insect, boom I'm surfing on a cloud, boom I'm teleporting a short distance. I also wound up collecting a bunch of loot and wish there was a vendor I could sell them to. It's not possible to beat the bosses right away, you have to rest and when the enemies respawn, kill them over and over (like Diablo) until you level. I'm not a fan of that mechanic.
I expect I'm almost finished with the game, I think I'm two bosses from the end. It was short and sweet and well worth the price.
