This DLC adds one of my favourite characters, the Samurai. His abilities are broken OP and THAT'S HOW I LIKE IT! I know everyone hates pay-to-win games like WoW or whatever, but I really like the fact that I paid the reduced cost of 82 cents for this and got something that HELPS me win the game. The samurai is, overall, one of the best classes in the game. One thing I have to complain about, however, is Hololo, the boss that floods the entire map, surrounding you in a bubble that slowly chokes you to death unless you're a high enough level to kill him quickly. He's sorta broken OP as well. I know this game doesn't do much hand-holding, it being a roguelike hack-n-slash, but for the time being my samurai isn't strong enough to kill this guy before I run out of oxygen. I'll kill him eventually, but it's sort of bad game design to have a boss fight like this.
Side note: I know everyone says the multiplayer is broken as hell, but I get enough enjoyment out of the singleplayer campaign that I don't really care that much :)

I have a level 144 samurai. I bought this back when you had to buy this to play online. Also when the samurais hat was cool. What even is it now? Jeez - Anyway i do recommend this, the map is great aswell.

This is by far my favourite class; my only issue is that there's no scaling on the Vorpal or Wind blade enchants. The Vorpal isn't so bad, as it has high base damage and is a mobility move, but the wind one just kinda feels useless... It does 2k damage, while my other abilties do upwards of 4k damage. And it's slow moving.
Definitely reccomend, very fun but slightly OP.

The new relics from this pack are handy, and the Samurai class is entertaining, with his stacking melee bonuses. Use caution however, going straight to act 5 from a fresh playthrough of the base game will likely kick your ass. Go grind for a bit first.

With the release of 2.0, I will not recommend any of the DLC content or the base game to anyone anymore.
Whatever you see now can and most likely will (based on the devs previous actions) change in the future, so you end up buying an unfinished product from devs that can't make up their mind.

Really nice expansion, and adds a lot of great content to the game. Pretty much all of the launch bugs mentioned in most of the negative reviews have been fixed, so if you like the base game then go for it.

I would like to recommend this to a friend but it feels so rushed it does not feel worth it. At first it seems ok but there needs to be some change. For a DLC I would like to see different dungeons and crypts plus a variety of new bosses which I can see without the old bosses coming back. It could off been so much more than what it currently is. I give this expansion 5/10

I can't recommend this DLC anymore. With 2.0 the characters have changed so much that what you see in the screenshots/video is no longer true.
As well, they've gone nutso with the DLC, there's $360 worth of it now. All while they keep messing up the basegame.
And, they raised the price of this! Get it only on sale

Very buggy at the moment!!!!!! They still have ALOT of work to do on the multiplayer. Thankfully they are working hard. <3 I say in about another month or so(From when I post this Review) buy this. Hopefully it'll be more developed and smexy. :3 I <3 this game, and hopefully multiplayer gets fixed up!

The singleplayer of this DLC(The Samurai and the 5th place) works just fine. :3 In-fact I love the samurai, if you're looking on expanding this game 1 more place and 1 more player(Who's awesome) Buy this!

Multiplayer now works with saving. Alot of bugs hammered out! Log-In system is better now too! Everything is basically fixed in the DLC.
