Relaxing and a nice way to exercise the brain. Like Minesweeper but you can solve everything without guessing with enough study.

A nice puzzle collection with a few breaks that I found quite interesting. The puzzle generator is a nice extension to the game, but I wouldn't expect to use it too many time (at least after 100%) as the puzzles doesn't feel as rewarding on completion as the main set.

Fun puzzle game, like minesweeper without having to guess and more mechanics. I sometimes thought I was stuck and have to guess, but after reading the solution I realized it was just a hard one my little brain couldn't solve. :D The first game Hexcells is very easy I heard, Hexcells plus, the second game, quite difficult handmade puzzles I heard and I bought Hexcells Infinite because it generates easy or hard random puzzles forever and also has some difficult handmade ones! After 10 hours I still have 6 very difficult handmade puzzles left. The community also asks for help or shares seeds of random puzzles, so there is always something to do.

difficulty was perfectly a the very high end of my casual puzzle capabilities.

Cerebral and relaxing...until I play long enough to start mis-clicking even though I know which color the cell should be. Once that starts it just keeps going downhill and my errors start piling up. That's when I know it's time to quit!

Minimalistic and challenging. No matter how much time I spend on this game, I still find question marks annoying. Overall, a great game.

The mistake counter is AGONY. Too often do is simply miss-click and need to start over. You think I'm redoing the entire puzzle. No. I'm taking a screen shot and getting myself to where I left off - Which is AGONY on the larger levels. Just get rid of it. The puzzles are good, though. Buy the game.

One of the best puzzle games around, with a random generator for truly infinite puzzles. Get it.

Hexcells Infinite is a brilliantly crafted puzzle game that captivates with its minimalist design and deeply satisfying logic-based gameplay. Developed by Matthew Brown Games, it serves as the third installment in the Hexcells series and brings a near-endless supply of challenges through procedurally generated puzzles, making it a standout title for fans of brainteasers and abstract strategy games. The game’s elegance lies in its simplicity: clean visuals, intuitive mechanics, and an ambient soundtrack create a calming yet mentally stimulating environment where players can immerse themselves in solving intricate hexagonal grids. The core gameplay revolves around uncovering or marking hexagonal tiles based on numerical clues, reminiscent of classic logic puzzles like Minesweeper or Picross but with its own unique twist. Each puzzle provides subtle hints about the number of filled tiles in a row or cluster, encouraging players to deduce which cells are safe to reveal and which should be flagged. The challenge intensifies as the game gradually introduces more complex clues and patterns, demanding sharper attention and deeper logical reasoning. What sets Hexcells Infinite apart is the balance it strikes between accessibility and depth—beginners can quickly grasp the mechanics, while veteran puzzlers will appreciate the escalating difficulty and variety. A key strength of the game is its infinite puzzle generation. Unlike traditional puzzle games that rely on a fixed set of handcrafted levels, Hexcells Infinite uses a procedural system to create fresh, unpredictable grids on the fly. This approach ensures that no two play sessions feel the same and that the game remains endlessly replayable. For players who thrive on continuous mental exercise and discovery, this feature is a major draw. Additionally, the game tracks your accuracy and performance, subtly encouraging improvement without imposing harsh penalties or time limits, which contributes to a relaxing and focused experience. Visually, Hexcells Infinite embraces minimalism with a clean and elegant interface. The hexagonal tiles are clearly defined, and the color palette—dominated by cool blues, soft oranges, and gentle whites—is soothing to the eyes, reinforcing the meditative quality of the game. The interface is thoughtfully designed to minimize distractions, allowing players to focus entirely on logic and deduction. The ambient soundtrack complements this atmosphere perfectly, offering unobtrusive electronic and piano melodies that help maintain concentration and calmness during extended play sessions. While the game’s minimalism is largely a strength, it may not appeal to players who prefer more narrative-driven or visually rich experiences. Hexcells Infinite is purely about the puzzle mechanics, offering little in terms of story or character development. This focus is deliberate and will be appreciated by fans of pure logic challenges, but those looking for a more varied or immersive adventure might find the experience somewhat sterile. Additionally, while the procedural generation is impressive, some puzzles may occasionally feel less balanced or intuitive compared to handcrafted levels, though this is a minor trade-off for the infinite content. In terms of accessibility, Hexcells Infinite is welcoming to newcomers but also provides a satisfying level of challenge for seasoned puzzle enthusiasts. The gradual introduction of new rules and mechanics ensures that players are not overwhelmed early on, while the complexity ramps up smoothly. The controls are straightforward and responsive, with simple mouse clicks or taps to reveal or mark tiles, making it easy to pick up and play. The game also includes an undo function and optional hints, which help reduce frustration and encourage experimentation. In summary, Hexcells Infinite is a masterclass in minimalist puzzle design that combines elegance, challenge, and endless replayability. Its clean aesthetics, soothing soundtrack, and procedurally generated puzzles create a perfect environment for players who enjoy exercising their logic and pattern recognition skills in a calm and focused setting. While it may lack narrative depth or flashy visuals, the game’s pure, thoughtful gameplay loop makes it a rewarding experience for anyone seeking a mentally engaging pastime. For fans of logic puzzles and minimalistic design, Hexcells Infinite offers countless hours of cerebral enjoyment. Rating: 9/10

It's a great game can probably play forever. But If there's one request, I would like the undo function. One mistaken click can cause the previous process to be messed up, and it can be painful to resume a new one again.
