Loved the visuals. The gameplay is ok, a bit slow at first and can be a bit grindy but I enjoyed it a fair bit. 7/10

Fun game, fun mechanics. Not terribly difficult to advance. I've officially played in excess of 20 hours and I can fairly easily run thru the more difficult modes.

It's a fun game. I've played a fair number of vampire-survivor-type games and I find this the easiest to zone out to and play while listening to some music as there aren't too many things happening on screen at once.

This is a fun "one of those" Vampire Survivor clones. You are basically jackie chan doing jacie chan stuff. Its got some intersting mechanics where you can stitch together combat moves for extra damage. There are loads of environmental interactions which you can use for attacks; like weapons laying around, kicking items into enemies and more. Though mostly it plays similar to other vs clones. There isnt really much content; just a few levels and some unlocks. Got it on sale for a few $, not much to complain about with that price.

This is a simple, fun, rogue like, Jackie Chan, kung fu, super nintendo shit right here. Get this game, you won't be disappointed. It is fun addictive approved!

This was a really fun reverse bullet hell game, I like how the unlocks work and how the moves combo with each other. Nothing too complicated, but not so simple that it's boring. Great one, try it out if you like the genre.

Karate Survivor is a different take on the Survivor roguelike genre. It's highly inspired by the 80/90s Jackie Chan movies (There's the iconic usage of ladder as weapon). There's an interesting combo system, the graphics are pretty good, the music is fun, the controls is standard. It's not a hard game, even on the legendary. Because, when you reach the point of unlocking the legendary probably you already upgraded a ton and that point you're already overpowered, unless you decide not to do it. It took me almost 24 hours to get 100% achievements because the last achievements was grindy AF and that's the reason that less than 5% got it. But in none of my sessions I felt like I was forcing my self to play this game, I got 100% because I wanted not because I needed. If Alawar releases a sequel of this game, for sure I'm going to buy it. I recommend.

I thought this game is great fun. it has so much potential... but it made it so frustrating to only be able to attack horizontally instead being able to aim to your strikes. the movie/frame attack mechanic is super fun... but if i cant kill the horde that is above or below me... it gets exhausting. its like vampire survivors without the attack maneuverability and thats just not fun.

It's easier on my eyes than other survivors type games. I like that there aren't flashing lights all over the screen, and that getting more powerful doesn't equal the screen being filled with chaos.
